山东大学硕士学位论文 摘要 近年来 英语教学在我国受到越来越广泛的关注 尤其是大学英语教学更是语 言专家 学者及教师研究的焦点 长期以来 我国的大学英语教学一直处在 以教 师为中心 的模式下 这种模式过于强调对认知能力的培养 而忽视了情感因素对 学习的影响 因此 在我国的大学英语教学中出现了 情感空白 的现象 这种现 象对于语言学习及学生的全面发展都是极其有害的 2 0 世纪6 0 年代 随着人文主义心理学的兴起 英语教学研究的重点从研究教师 如何教转向学生如何学 其中一个重要领域是关于造成学习结果差异的学生个体因 素 在这一背景下 研究人员开始关注情感因素对学习的影响 给学生学习造成负 面作用的情感因素被称为消极情感 如焦虑 害怕 羞涩 紧张 愤怒 厌恶等 而焦虑被认为是语言学习中最大的情感障碍 严重影响学习潜力的正常发挥 在我国 有关焦虑方面的研究虽然很多 但是 关于大学生英语学习焦虑方面 的研究还比较欠缺 按大学生的年龄来说 他们大都已是成人 因此在生理 情感 认知 文化同一性等方面的可塑性不如儿童 可见 与中小学生相比 大学生学习 外语会遇到更多的困难 他们往往花费了大量时间和精力却收效甚微 因而更容易 引发焦虑感 因此 作为大学英语教师要设法通过多种途径营造舒适愉快的课堂环境 帮助 学生降低焦虑 提高他们的语言学习功效
