必修四unit one A student of wildlife protection教案设计一:教材分析 本单元紧扣“女性”这一中心话题,通过介绍几位生活在不同国度的杰出女性,探讨女性在社会生活中的地位、价值和贡献。学习本单元有助于提高学生对妇女的社会角色的认识,培养学生(尤其是女学生)的自信心、事业心和社会责任感,建立正确的性别观和社会观。二:设计理念 根据新课标理念,结合我校学生英语基础参差不齐的实际,本课时我把阅读课文作为整体理解的同时,把每个环节设计的任务分出高低不同的层次,由浅入深,循序渐进,力争使绝大多数同学都参与到课堂活动,通过“任务型”活动,引导学生自主学习,培养学生“跳读”“寻读”“定位”“推理归纳”等阅读方法,通过讨论,描述等活动,进行合作学习。三:教学目标1. 学生通过阅读简与她的同事们在非洲原始森林研究黑猩猩的一个片段,了解她在动物保护方面所付出的艰辛和所取得的成就。2. 使学生了解黑猩猩的生活习性以及与人类的相似之处,获取保护动物的知识。3. 学生学会快速阅读的方法;培养筛选局部和整体信息的能力以及独立阅读和合作学习的能力;训练阅读技巧;提高获取信息和处理信息的能力。4. 培养学生(尤其是女学生)的自信心、事业心和社会责任感,建立正确的性别观和社会观。四:教学重点难点教学重点:阅读能力的培养和阅读技巧的训练。如找出文章主旨和精读课文获得有关黑猩猩生活习性以及简在研究黑猩猩的过程中付出的艰辛劳动取得的成就等信息,培养学生获取信息,处理信息,分析问题和解决问题的能力。教学难点:培养学生口语表述自己的观点五:教学程序Step one: leading-inT: First, lets enjoy a video.T: Whats the woman doing in the video?T: Do you know what she achieved?S:T: Would you like to know how she did it?S:T: OK.
