大学英语教学大纲College English 课程代码:0210011102学 分:4学 时:68(其中:讲课学时:32 实践学时:28 其他:8) 先修课程:无适用专业:非英语专业(本科)建议教材:郑树棠.新视野大学英语读写1读写教程.外语教学与研究出版社.2015年6月. 项目组.新通用大学英语视听说教程1高等教育出版社.2011年3月. 开课系部:外语系一、课程的性质与任务课程性质:该课程属于公共基础必修课。课程任务:本大纲适用于参加普通高考入学的非英语专业本科学生。学生入学时一般掌握基本英语知识(语音知识和语法),掌握英语单词1600个,有一定的听、说、读、写、译的基本语言能力。本课程的教学目的是经过68左右学时的教学,使学生掌握一定的英语知识和技能,具有一定的听、说、读、写、译的能力,从而能借助词典阅读和翻译英语资料,能进行简单的口头和书面交流,为今后进一步提高英语的交际能力打下基础。本课程在加强英语语言基础知识和基本技能训练,重在培养学生使用英语进行交际的能力。通过学习,学生应达到以下要求:词汇 认识1600个英语单词以及由这些单词构成的常用词组,大部分单词能正确拼写,英汉互译。语法 掌握基本的英语语法规则,能正确运用听、说、读、写、译的基本知识。 听力 能听懂英语授课,能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座,能基本听懂英语国家慢速英语节目,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。 口语 能用英语进行课堂交流,能在学习过程中用英语交流,并能就某一主题进行讨论。能就日常话题和来自讲英语国家的人士进行简单交谈。能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。阅读 能阅读一般题材英文资料,理解正确。阅读速度不低于每分钟70词。在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时,阅读速度达到每分钟100词,能基本读懂国内英文报刊,掌握中心意思,理解主要事实和有关细节。能读懂工作、生活中常见的应用文体的材料。能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。写作 能用常见的应用文体完成一般的写作任务,能描述个人经历、事件、观感、情感等,能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出120词的短文,内容基本完整,文句基本正确,无严重的语法错误,格式恰当,表达清楚得体。能在一般或应用写作中使用恰当的写作技能。 翻译 能借助词典对题材熟悉的文章进行英汉互译。译文基本流畅,能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。二、课程的基本内容及要求新视野大学英语读写1读写教程Unit 1 Fresh start1.课程教学内容:Toward a brighter future for all2.课程的重点、难点:教学重点: VocabularyUse of Vocabulary, Phrases and Expressions SkillsLearn to read with the skill “structure analysis” and write a passage with this structure “a general statement supported by details”.教学难点:Talking about college education.Writing paragraphs with the structure “a general statement supported by details”.Applying the phrases and patterns.3.课程教学要求:After studying this unit, the students are expected to be able to:1) talk about college education;2) understand how to make ones future brighter in Text A;3) apply the phrases and the patterns in the text;4) write a composition with the structure “A paragraph with a topic sentence supported by details”.Unit 2 Loving Parents, Loving Children1.课程教学内容:A childs clutter awaits an adults return2.课程的重点、难点:教学重点: VocabularyMake it; be free of/from; strip off; reverse oneself; straighten up; keep back; with open arms; sb. catch oneself doing something; the more, the more; sb. does something, so/neither sb. does sb. else Skills Writing devices: sentence writing:名词+现在分词;名词+介词短语;名词+过去分词;名词+形容词教学难点:Talking about love between parents and children.Writing paragraphs with the structure “topic + problem + details of the problem + solutions + evaluation”.Applying the phrases and patterns.3.课程教学要求:After studying this unit, the students are expected to be able to:1. understand the main idea and structure of Section A;2. master the key language points and grammatical structures in the text;3. talk about the love between the parents and children;4. understand the love between the mother and the daughter in the text5. write an essay creatively based on the understanding of the text.Unit 3 Digital Campus1.课程教学内容:College life in the Internet age2.课程的重点、难点:教学重点: Vocabularytransform, analyze, estimate, inferior, take the lead, account for, focus on, keep up with, stand out, replace with, etc SkillsLearn to read with the skill “distinguishing between facts and opinions” and write a passage with this structure “cause and effect”.教学难点: Understanding the influence of internet on college students.
