人教修订版高一英语上Unit 7 Cultural relics Warming up & listening教案 教学内容分析:本单元的中心话题是“文化遗产”,内容涉及“文化遗产介绍”、“文化遗产修复”和“文化遗产保护”等。语言技能和语言知识的设计都是围绕这些话题的。“热身活动”部分通过三幅图片引出“文化遗产”这个主题。这三幅图分别是:埃及金字塔、中国万里长城和英格兰巨石群,让学生通过谈论这三处世界文化遗产,在知识上和语言上进行“热身”准备。“听力训练”部分描述了三个虚拟的文遗产:冬宫,阳光寺和庐山。这部分的训练的目的是帮助学生通过听,获取这三个文化遗产详细信息,其中包括名称、全景、文化意思以及保护情况;同时提高学生根据声音符号直接在头脑呈像的能力(遗产的全景),要求学生根据所听到的信息补画图中所缺的部分。学生情况分析:学生的英语基础一般,其中听说技能较差,尤其是学生的口头表达能力较差,同时不够大胆。但在教师给出一定的情景或提示引导下,大部分学生可以说出相应的语言知识点和文化知识点,虽然多用词组表达,还较少用完整的句子回答。文化遗产保护这个话题较时尚,学生较感兴趣,且对金字塔和长城的历史有一定的了解。学生喜欢购物,对广州北京路有相当的了解,特别是近一年来被多次报道过的“千年古道”。教师可以通过谈论北京路上的古道来引出本单元的中心内容“文化遗产”。Teaching Aims(教学目标):1. Knowledge Aims(知识目标):Ss can master the following phrases and expressions:Cultural , cultural relic, pyramid, Egypt, Stonehenge, statue(学生能够掌握以上词的意思和用法。)2. Ability Aims(能力目标):1) Through talking and listening, Ss can understand the listening material and improve their listening and speaking ability.2) Through discussion and talking, Ss can use English to express their opinions on social problems.(通过听和说,学生能够理解听力材料的内容,同时提高他们的听、说能力;通过讨论和说话,学生能够用英语来表达他们对一些社会问题的看法。)3. Emotional Aims(情感目标): 1) Through talking about some cultural relics, Ss can truly appreciate the significance of them and at the same time, realize the importance of protecting cultural relics.2) Ss can be aware of the great value of the cultural relics in China, and have a deeper love for their mother country.(通过谈论世界文化遗产, 让学生能真正欣赏人类文化遗产的辉煌,同时能认识到保护人类文化遗产的重要性;学生能够意识到中国文化遗产的重大价值,从而促进学生的爱国之情。)Teaching Important Points(教学重点):1. How to improve Ss listening ability.2. Talk about ways to protect cultural relics.(提高学生的听力能力和谈论保护文化遗产的方法。)Teaching Difficult Points(教学难点):1. Improve Ss speaking ability by talking some cultural relics2. Improve Ss listening comprehension and getting certain information by listening to some materials.(通过谈论一些文化遗产来提高学生的口头表达能力;通过做听力练习,提高学生的听力综合理解能力和获取关键信息的能力。)Teaching Methods(教学方法): Audio-lingual(听说法)1. Listening method to improve the Ss listening ability.2. Talking method to enable the Ss to express themselves freely.Teaching Aids(教学工具):tapes, tape-recorder, computer, pictures, projectorTeaching Procedures(教学过程):Step I. Leading in(导入)Activity(学生活动): Have a free talk with Ss about Beijing Road in Guangzhou.Questions: 1. Which places in GZ you would like to introduce to a stranger?2. What can we see and buy in Beijing Road?3. What do you know about the ancient road in Beijing Road?4. Have you ever seen it?Purpose(活动目的): 1. To arouse Ss interest and build up a good feeling between T & Ss .2. To talk about the ancient road in Beijing Road and let Ss know that is a cultural relic.3. To get ready for the Warmingup part.(引起学生的兴趣,建立一种良好的师生关系,同时引出课题中心“文化遗产”。)Step II. Warmingup(热身活动)Activity(学生活动): Pictures discussion on the screen.1. Show Ss three pictures (The Pyramids in Egypt, The Great Wall, the Stonehenge) and ask Ss to tell what they know about them.2. If you have a chance to travel, which one would you like to visit most ? Why?3. Questions:1) Do you think it necessary to spend so much money to protect cultural relics?2) Why is it important to protect them?3) What do you think we can do to protect our cultural relics?4) Which places in Guangzhou do you think can be cultural relics in future?Purpose(活动目的):1. To practise Ss speaking ability.2. To get ready for the knowledge and language.3. To make Ss appreciate the significance of them and realize the importance of protecting cultural relics(通过谈论文化遗产,让学生能真正欣赏人类文化遗产的辉煌,同时能认识到保护人类文化遗产的重要性。)Step III. Listening (听力训练)Activity(学生活动): 1. Listen to the description of the three cultural sites. Complete the map on P43.2. Listen to the tape three times if necessary. The Check the information with the Ss.1) Listen for the first time, let Ss get the three names of the site.2) Listen for the second time, let Ss find out why it is important.3) Listen for the last time, let Ss find out what is being done to protect it.*( Ss will find it easy to finish the first task , but quite difficult to finish the following two tasks. (学生通过听力训练,从听力材料里获取特定的信息,从而提高听力理解能力。)Step IV. Discussion(讨论)(机动)Activity(学生活动): Discussion1. Background(背景): You live in a small village. Near the village, there is a very old temple. Some businessmen want to build new houses where the temple stands. Some villagers agree with the businessmen while others dont agree. Today, we invite a famous host and some experts to have a discussion together. (T devide the class into groups of four, asking each S to act as the role of an Expert, or a Businessman or Villager A or Villager B. Ss make a debate about whether they should protect the temple or build houses, according to the key words the T give.) By listening to it, weve realized it is quite important to protect them. We should do our best to protect them. .Step VI. Homework Task: (任务)As is known to us all, China is a country with a history of more than 5,000 years. In the long history, people in different periods have left us quite a number of cultural sites, many of which are world-famous.Prepare a brief description of Ss favorite cultural site in China. The report must include the following:1)The name of the site 2)Its size as well as its history 3) Its importance and what is being done to protect it.
