进一步把深层回指分为无明示先行 项的回指 零代词回指和歧义回指 m i e l 在其可及性理论中总结出了指称词语的可 及性程度等级 但是该等级的局限性在于其只能适用于表层回指 转喻作为人类重要的思维方式 使得我们可以依靠转喻的思维来解读回指现象 本文从认知转喻的角度提出一个模型 用以分析 解释表层和深层回指中确定回指 指称对象的认知过程 该模型指出听话者为了确定回指 在理想化认知模型中进行 认知推理的步骤越多 付出的努力越大就越难达到目的 该观点解释了在深层回指 中 指称词作为可及性标示语不能被 i e l 的可及性程度等级所囊括的原因 由此作 者发现受不同认知推理的影响 要建立一个适用于各种回指现象的可及性标示语等 级是不太现实的 全文共分五章 第一章简要介绍了从认知转喻角度研究英语回指的可及性的意 义 相关研究以及全文的结构 第二章回顾了回指 转喻以及可及性研究的主要理 论
