My view on Elizabeth Pride and prejudice is a very popular novel written by Jane Austen and it is read widely all over the world. It was written in 1813. The first sentence of the whole novel proclaims, “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” It talks about trivial matters of love, marriage and family life between country squires and fair ladies in Britain in the 18th century. The plot is very simple. That is how the young ladies choose their husbands. She is a model because she is different from all the other characters. she is self-reliant and independent。She has good manners; her slight breach of decorum walking alone to Nether field Park is justified by her genuine concern for her sister who is ill. She has good manners. When Lady Catherine criticizes Elizabeth skill of playing piano, she can have good manners to keep polite. On the surface, Elizabeth is just ordinary. She is attractive but not beautiful; she is endowed with certain graces and talents, but not unusually gifted, she is appealing without being exquisite. In the end, she wins everything: the prince, the castle, the happiness, and the esteem. Elizabeth will find happiness because she learns to recognize her faults. Elizabeths blindness of her faults was opened by Darcys letter. She learns to judge others more accurately and not be blinded by first impressions. Elizabeths confession that she was guilty of prejudices based on her own judgment tells us that she is superior to the other characters. She also realizes that people cannot be judged based solely by their appearance, and that character evaluations must also take into account the substance behind a persons appearance. Elizabeth becomes a rational creature speaking the truth from her heart. Without neither family wealth nor wisdom to aid her, Elizabeths success is a attribute to her inner strength. Elizabeth is the female protagonist of the novel-pride and prejudice. She is just somebody, so she also makes mistakes. She said “only love will make me want another marriage.” These words prove that she is looking forward to freedom marriage, not money marriage. Elizabeth is very true, When she found Mr. Darcy is very pride, she dont hesitate let he know that, just tell her owning feeling to Darcy. Elizabeth is sensible. She knows what she wants, so at the first time, Darcy proposal of marriage to her, she refused. In a word, Elizabeth is intelligent and witty, courageous, visionary, and she also has strong self-esteem, and she is good at thinking, use knowledge to enrich her mind. She breaks through the property and status an
