无锡新区生命科技园太湖明珠无锡是一座具有三千多年历史的文化名城，位于上海以西120公里的太湖之畔，地处苏南地理中心，国内和国际交通均十分便利。无锡不仅是中国近代民族工商业的摇篮，还是中国现代乡镇工业的发源地，并且因实施“530计划”而成为中国当代海归人才创新创业的首善之地。其经济、社会发展水平位居国内城市前十位。无锡新区位于无锡市的东南部，始建于1992年，是全市主要的对外开放窗口、科技创新基地和经济转型发展引擎；是江苏省唯一国家火炬计划实施20周年先进开发区，是江苏省唯一首批进入国家命名的海外高层次人才创新创业基地，是江苏省唯一与国家科技部合作共建的国家创新型园区。2010年，国内生产总值（GDP）为932亿元，是全国综合运行水平和质量最好的国家级高新技术产业开发区之一。无锡新区生命科技园（中国太湖生命科技园）由总部研发区与产业区两部分组成，首期开发面积为3平方公里，区域规划面积为30多平方公里。园区重点发展创新药物与创新制剂产业、生命传感器及其医疗器械产业，兼顾发展生物治疗与康健服务产业，以及关键生物物种与酶为基础的新型生物产业。园区兼具孵化器、加速器和产业化基地的系统功能，以具有竞争性优势的产业扶持政策，致力于为自主创新成果的产业化提供系统解决方案。园区构建研发、生产、销售、物流到临床应用等组成的、较为完整的产业链体系；构建蛋白质药物、创新制剂、疫苗、生物传感器、生物芯片等方面创新研发与GMP产业转化的公共技术服务平台体系；构建人力资源、投融资、物资保障、交易展示、信息咨询、生活后勤等内容组成的产业综合服务体系。无锡市食品药品监督管理局及无锡市食品药品检验检测中心座落在该园区，可以“贴身式”地提供优质高效的行政服务与质量检测服务。生命科技产业是无锡新区正在重点培育的新兴产业，现有各类企业170多家， 2010年销售收入超过80亿元，经济总量位居全市第一。阿斯利康、纽迪希亚、通用电气医疗、济民可信山禾药业、罗益生物、祥生医学影像和西格玛奥德里奇等一批行业骨干企业在此落户，目前发展状态良好。面向未来，无锡新区将努力成为全国创新药物成果转化的第一高地，成为中国“感知生命”创新研发与成果转化的第一高地，成为中国动物生物反应器产业化的核心基地，成为“国内一流，世界先进”的生命科技产业集聚区。Wuxi New District Life Science and Technology Park (China Taihu Life Science and Technology Park, CTL)Wuxi, pearl of Taihu Lake, about 120kms far from shanghai, is a famous cultural city with a history of over 3,000 years. It is located at the geological center of south of Jiangsu Province and has diversified transportation systems which make it easy to get access to both domestic and overseas. Hundred years ago, Wuxi was the cradle of Chinese modern national industry and commerce; Thirty years ago, Wuxi was the origin of China modern town-village industry; Nowadays, Wuxi becomes the initial option of innovation & Entrepreneurship for Chinese contemporary era overseas returnee talents due to the implementation of “530 Plan”. Its level of economic and social development stands top 10 in China.Wuxi New District (WND) established in 1992, is in the southeast of Wuxi city, and is an important window of opening-up, an engine in the economy transformation and upgrading.
