Make plansDifficult points:How to make plansTeaching Steps:Step 1: Presentation1. Greet with the students.2. According to the weather, ask the students : What do you think of the weather today?3. Present the sentences about talking about preferences: -What do you think of the weather today? - I cant stand it. I dont mind it. I like/love it. / I dont like it. 4. Show a picture of Smart Goat and Big Big Wolf and ask the students: What do you think of Smart Goat/ Big Big Wolf/this cartoon? to practice the languages above. (设计意图:利用和学生的问候,建造英语学习氛围,同时引入表达喜好的句子;利用喜羊羊和灰太狼的卡通提高兴趣,同时练习这些句子。)Step 2: New WordsSmart Goat and Big Big Wolf is a famous cartoon. What other TV shows do you know? Let the students brainstorm the names of TV shows,and learn the new words: sitcom ,news, soap opera.(设计意图:利用喜羊羊和灰太狼的图片让学生头脑风暴有关电视节目的单词,同时利用图片学习新单词:sitcom, soap opera, news)Step 3: Practice1. Ask two students: What do you think of talent shows and give the students an example.2. Students work in pairs to practice the conversation with the words about talk shows.3. Ask the students to act it out.(设计意图:学完单词后和上面的句型结合起来练习,对句型再次运用,对单词加以运用,层层递进,学以致用。)Step 4: Presentation 1. Tell the students : Today you will have no homework and you can watch TV.
