Final Project Proposal Inventory management systemA126560Wu XunboIntroduction:In Departmental Stores Inventory Management System we keep track of objects or materials of the store. Properly managing inventory is essential to the success of every dealership. Inventory Management system provides information to efficiently manage the flow of materials, effectively utilize people and equipment, coordinate internal activities and communicate with customers. In the current scenario of our country few departmental stores are automated and some are semi automated and many are still having manual system for keeping the record of inventory. In manual system the inventory management system is quite time consuming and tedious. Semi automated system is also not well organized.Problem Statement:Some of existing system semi automated and many are manual to keep the transaction record of the inventory in the departmental store. People still prefer to follow the manual method even if there is automated system to keep the record. We have found that employees first of all record all information in there ledger before entering in computer system. They are using both ways to keep the record of stock purchase, inventory, sales monitoring, etc. Following this method is very time consuming and tedious. It has many drawbacks as there may be mistakes while recording large data and this may disrupt the important transaction.So, in this project we are trying to make inventory management system which will help employees to keep record of inventories in systematic way and help them produce report about the inventory or stock currently available in their store in automatic way to help then sale forecasting, decision making about the stock etc.ObjectiveOBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT IS TO DEVELOP INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR DEPARTMENTAL STORE.About my system:1. The supermarket inventory management system needs descriptionThrough the needs analysis, can simply summed up the system need to function of the realization of the shown below:(1) inventory management:1) the stock controller check through every day a;2) the stock controller when found inventory goods have the damage, processing loss;3) order of goods, the arrival of the first check the stock controller product is qualified and the unqualified commodities will update relevant information processing, storage,4) when goods into the store merchandise outbound processing.(2) order list management1) the order with new goods supplier information part suppliers supplier database information update;2) order member, according to statistics inventory goods need to make purchase order.(3)statistical listing managementThe statistician according to inventory, delivery, and order list statistics related information;On the basis of the above analysis, can be determined primarily in a unified system function under the premise of interface, divided into inventory management module, delivery order list management management and statistics list list management module four modules.
