Dear Tang,Here is the price quote you requested for the five day group in LAX area. Attached you will find a tentative itinerary with some suggested activities. There are many other activities available so if you have any particular requests please let me know and I will be happy to send another proposal. If you would like to add an activity or English class on either the arrival or departure day that can be done without any additional cost. Our basic price includes arrival and departure day fees for the Teacher Guide regardless of what activities occur on those days.Our classes are held at local facilities, examples would be, churches, community centers, libraries, schools (if available), etc. We call these Study Centers. The exact location of the Study Center for each group is often the last decision made. This is because we want to choose facilities that are conveniently located to as many host families as possible and it takes several weeks to locate all the host families.Common homestay communities used in Southern California are: Moreno Valley, Diamond Bar, Murrieta, Temecula, Riverside, Chino, Corona, Redlands, Phillips Ranch, Pomona, Wildomar, Perris, Chino Hills, Highland, Menifee Lakes, Hemet, Hacienda Heights, Yucaipa, Lake Arrowhead, Canyon Lake, Running Springs, Rosemead, Yorba Linda, San Jacinto, Norco, Victorville, California City, Adelanto, Apple Valley, Lancaster, Phelan, Palmdale, Lompoc, Pinon Hills, Santa Ynez, Pomona, Hesperia, Riverside, San Bernadino, Fall Brook. However, groups may be placed in other communities not listed. It appears from our conversation today that you are very concerned that the homestay community be close to Los Angeles. I cannot promise how close a given group will be to LA but the earlier a group books the better chance of being within an hour to two hours from LA. By way of explanation, we need to put the groups in safe communities, where many families reside and we have an available Teacher Guide. Most young families live a bit away from LA because of the home prices.
