Lead-in T: Boys and girls, nice to meet you. Do you like football? Can you play football very well?Ss:T: Please look at the man on the picture. 请看大屏幕Can he play football? (PPT 5) (Ss: Yes.) T: What is he?Ss: T: He is a football player. Please read after me, player /ei/.Hes in a football team. Do you know which football team?Ss: T: Hes in an English football team. Read after me, team /i:/.Does he do well in the football team? Ss: T: Yes. He scores many goals in matches. Read after me, goal, match /.2. Reading T: This man is a good football player. Do you know other football players? Today lets get to know another football player, Li Hua. First, please read the sports news about him on page 16 and think about the questions on the screen. 请阅读课本16页的短文并思考大屏幕上的问题。(PPT 6) Ss:T: Is Li Hua the newest member in his team?S1: Yes, he is.T: Yes, he is. What is he good at?S2: He is good at scoring goals.T: Right. He is good at scoring goals. Now lets read the sports news on page 16 together. 齐读课本16页的短文。Ss:T: After reading the news, can you make some notes about Li Hua? Please try to fill in the blanks on page 16. 请填写课本16页上的空格。Ss:T: How many blanks can you fill in?Ss: Three.T: Three. What are they?S1: Name, team and hobbies.T: Right. (PPT 7) They re about Li Huas name, team and hobbies. Which team is Li Hua in?S2: Huanghe Football Team.T: Good. He is in Huanghe Football Team. What about his hobbies? What does he like doing?S3: He likes reading books about football.T: Right. He likes reading books about football.Part Two: While-listening T: After reading, we know something about Li Hua. Do you want to know more about him? Now lets listen to the tape. When youre listening, please try to find out Li Huas age and birthplace. 听磁带,找出李华的年龄和出生地。(PPT 8) How old is he? Where was he born? Ss:T: How old is Li Hua?S1: 22.T: Right. He is 22. Do you know his birthplace? Where was he born?S2: Guangdong.T: Good. Part Three: Post-listening 1. Fill in the blanks on page 17.T: After reading and listening, we know something about Li Hua. Can you write something about him?
