第六章 连词【新课标考点分析】1.初步掌握并列连词在并列句中的用法；2.初步掌握从属连词中复合句中的基本用法。【新课标考点精讲】连词： 用来连接词与词、短语与短语或者句子与句子的英语单词。分并列连词和从属连词两种。如：and和；if是否。一 连词的种类1并列连词：并列连词用来连接句子中担任相同成分的词、短语和句子。常见到有and和；but但是；or或者/否则；so因为；for因为；not onlybut also不但而且；eitheror或者或者；bothand既又；neithernor既不也不；2.从属连词：从属连词用来引导宾语从句、状语从句和定语从句等。常见到有：宾语从句that，if，whether，what，which，who，whom，whose，how，when，where，why等。时间状语从句when，before，after，untill，since，as soon as等。原因状语从句because，as，since等条件状语从句if结果状语从句sothat, such that ,too to ,not enough to 让步状语从句though， although比较状语从句than，as as目的状语从句so that， in order that等二、连词的用法1.表示并列关联的连词And的用法：用于肯定的并列；如：I am a teacher and he is a doctor. 在come、go和stop等后面表示目的；如：Lets go and see the pandas. 我们去看熊猫吧。Will you stop and have a break? 你们停下来休息会儿吧。Bothand 的用法：连接A和B，表示二者都(肯定句)如：Both Kate and Lucy are from the USA. 凯特和露西都来自美国。Neithernor用法：是bothand的否定形式。后面谓语取决于nor后面主语。如:Neither I nor he has seen the TV play. 我和他都没有看过这部电视剧。Not onlybut also的用法：连接二者，侧重于后面一个；与as well as不同的是侧重于前者。如：Mr Li is not only our teacher but also our friend. Mr Li不但是我们老师，更是我们朋友。2.表示选择的连词；Or的用法；表示选择或者排斥；He will come today or tomorrow. 他今天不来明天都要来 否定句表示并列否定；I cant speak French or Japanese.我不会说法语和日语。 表示“否则”（条件关系）Hurry up！ Or you will miss the last train. 赶快！否则你将错过末班火车。Eitheror表示或者或者（二者必居其一）动词谓语取决于or后面主语。Either you or he is going there。要么你要么他得去那里。3.表示转折的连词： butI bought a nice handbag for my grandma, but she doesnt like it.我给我奶奶买了一个好看到手提包，但是她却不喜欢。4.表示因果的连词：soTom was ill yesterday， so he didnt go to school。【实例解析】1. (中考试题) -I like riding fast. Its very exciting. -Oh! You mustnt do it like that, _ it may have an accident. A. and B. or C. so D. but 答案：B。该题考查的是并列连词的用法。答语的意思是“你不要那样做，否则会发生事故的。”在这四个并列连词中，只有or含有这样的意思，所以应选B。2. (中考试题) John fell asleep _ he was listening to the music.
