The fourth “China - ASEAN Social Development and Poverty Reduction Forum”Call for papers and casesSince the 1990s, trade liberalization has occupied the central stage with the acceleration of economic globalization. But for most developing countries, can trade liberalization reducepoverty? How do the poor in the poverty-stricken areas benefit from trade liberalization? What kinds of public policies do we need to enable the poor and poverty-stricken areas benefit from trade liberalization? These issues are related to the poverty reduction strategies making in most developing countries. Against this background, the International Poverty Reduction Center in China will organize the fourth China - ASEAN Social Development and Poverty Reduction Forum. To prepare a successful forum, we call for cases and papers in order to select the outstanding ones to form the proceedings as the background introductions of the forum in 2010.
