宁海县小学英语教学设计与评议上课时间_上课地点_评议者_课题PEP7 Unit5 What does he do?课型新授课执教者郑亚飞教材分析本单元Unit5 What does he do?的教学内容是让学生掌握一些有关职业的英语表达方式并就此展开相关讨论,能够简单介绍人物职业,会询问他人的工作地点并给出相应的回答。让学生了解不同的职业特点,能够根据自身的爱好为自己的未来设想职业并为之努力。本课属于本单元的第四课时,主要介绍了几种生活中常见的职业,以及询问职业场所。要求学生能在情景中使用句型,询问他人的职业和职业场所,并能对他人的询问做出相应的正确的回答, 并能形成自己的职业理想。让学生明白每一个职业都是有意义的,都值得尊重。教学目标能力、知识目标::能够听、说、读、写fisherman,scientist, pilot, coach;能结合本部分核心句型What does he/she do? Where does he/she work?询问职业和工作地点。进一步拓展表示工作地点的词汇和语句,提高交际能力。情感目标: 能够对相关的职业有正确的认识,初步形成职业理想。教学重点重点:能够听、说、读、写fisherman,scientist, pilot, coach四个职业名词,并能简单描述他人的职业及工作情况。突破方法:结合单词卡片、观察单词的组成,用同类单词归类或自然拼读法帮助学生更快掌握新单词,突破重点。教学难点能在真实情境中熟练运用所学语言进行真实的交流。教具准备PPT、单词图片、作业纸设计意图教学过程评议分析在交谈过程中拉近与学生的距离。呈现家庭树,介绍家人的职业和工作地点,以此导入He works.的教学。 展示飞行员图片,用What does he do? 导出pilot和句型“Where does he work?”。考察学生对重点单词和句型的掌握情况。用图片和句型where does he do逐步引出fisherman。通过是非判断题,操练以上所学的两个单词和句型,并渐渐过度到coach的教学。通过不同的教练来巩固coach和句型where does he work, 让学生进一步理解这个句型的含义。呈现不同外貌特征的科学家,让学生操练scientist。回归文本,听录音,指导学生的语音、语调。巩固本课所学的4个职业名词和地点。在完成填空的基础上,让学生用两个重点句型谈论职业情况,锻炼他们的交际能力。欣赏不同职业的图片,拓展更多的职业名词和工作地点,为学生介绍家人的职业情况作铺垫。同时让学生感知每个职业的意义。从而形成自己的职业理想。用一首歌来升华学生对职业的认知。教学过程Warm-up(1) Enjoy a short video(2) Free talkStep 1 Lead-in1. Show a family tree and introduce 2. Review the learned jobs and teach “He works_”. farmer( on the farm), cook(in a restaurant),postman(at the post office).Step 2 Presentation and Practice 1. Teach “pilot” and “ Where does he do?” What does he do? He is a pilot. Where does he work? S: He works on the plane. Practice: Role-play and memory challenge. What does he do? He is a pilot. _ does he _? He works on the plane.2.Teach fishermanT:Where does he work? He works _. At sea. What does he do? He is a _. Teach fisherman. Practice this dialogue. (3 pairs)T: Now, lets finish a task. S1 reads, S2 judges and says the right answer.(1) The fisherman works on a plane. The fisherman works at sea. (2) The doctor works in a hospital. (3) The teacher works on the road. The teacher works at a university. Teach “ university”. (4) The basketball player works in a gym. Teach “ gym”.3. Teach “coach”T: Look at this man. What does he do? T: He is a coach. Teach “coach”.S1: The coach works in a gym. Practice: He is a _ coach. He is a basketball coach. He is a baseball coach. He works on the playground. Choose the right question? A: What does he do? B: Where does he work? He is a swimming coach. T: And he works in the gym. Can you ask this question? S5: Where does he work? 4. Teach scientist Is he a coach? T: He is a scientist. T: Listen : Where does he work? S1: He works at a university. Describe the scientist. T: Is he old? Yes, he is an old scientist, and he has white hair. The scientist is_. . ( old, young, tall and thin, short and fat)5. Come back to the text on Page 51.T: Look at this woman. I have two questions. Q1: Is she a scientist? Q2: Where does she work? Listen to the radio and answer these questions. Check the answers. Listen again, and read! Role-play.Step 3 Consolidation and extension1. Write and discussT: Olivers aunt is a scientist.
