It took a month to _my cough.译_ We must get rid of this bad habit.译_III Using his hybrid rice, farmers are producing havests twice as large as before.译_1 表示倍数的词如twice, three times, half 等+as +adj/adv+as表示“是的多少倍”。如: The meeting room is three times as large as our classroom.译_They have produced twice as many cars as they planed.译_2 归纳规则 在进行比较时可以用asas或more than结构,并且可以在这两个结构前加表示倍数的词。倍数的表达法有以下几种结构。 倍数+as+形容词/副词原级+as 即A is three( four , five ,etc) times as+big(long,wide, high, deep,etc) as B. 倍数+形容词/副词比较级+than. 即A is three( four , five ,etc) times bigger(longer, wider, higher, deeper, etc) than B倍数+the +名词(size , weight, height, depth, length,width等)+of即 A is three( four ,five ,etc) times+the size (weight,height,depth,length width等) +of B 形容词的比较级+than+by+倍数 即 A is bigger(longer, wider, higher, deeper, etc) than B by three( four ,five ,etc) times.Eg. Now you can start taking steps to lessen your test anxiety. Here are some ways to do that:Ask for help. Talk to your mom or dad, your teacher, or your school guidance counselor. Just talking to someone about test anxiety can make you feel better .Describe what happens to you when youre taking a test and these people can help you figure out some solutions. For instance, learning study skills can boost your test day confidence.Be prepared. Pay attention in class. Do your homework. Study for the test. On test day, youre more likely to feel like you know the material.Block bad thoughts. Watch out for any negative messages you might be sending yourself about the test (“Im no good at taking tests” or “Im going to freak our if I get a bad grade”) .These thoughts can make anxiety worse and make it harder for you to do well on the test. .Everyone makes mistakes .Be more forgiving of your own mistakes, especially if you prepared for the test and are set to do your best.Breathe better. OK, so you already know how to breathe .But did you know that breathing exercises can help calm you down? (Just try not to take in too much air because it might make you feel dizzy.) Heres how to do it: Inhale (breathe in) slowly and deeply through your nose, and then exhale (breathe out ) slowly through your mouth. Do this two to four times and you just might breathe easier the next time youre taking a test!1. What is the best title of the passage ? (Please answer within 10 words) 2.
