Revision and Lead-inT: Review the new words of this lesson and show two groups of pictures representing the people of different ages and backgrounds to lead in the topic.Step. Skimming and Scanning1. Skim the text: have Ss read the title, the paragraph in italic as well as the subtitles quickly to make clear of the main idea and the writer s purpose of writing. 2. Scan the text: make Ss read the texts quickly and find out the basic information of the three learners (names and ages ).Step. Careful Reading Task 1 Read for the detailed information.1.
