The Phenomenon of Keeping PetsDo you have a pet? Most of people would say:” yes”; and there are various kinds of pets, such as dogs, cats, birds and so on; according to a social survey, the number of people who keep pets or want to have pets is increasing sharply. Whereas, why so many people keep pets? And is this phenomenon really well?There are many different kinds of reasons for the phenomenon of why people keep pets, among which, I would like to explore a few of them. First of all, for the quick development of economic, the life paces of humans are getting more and more rapid; thus, men have no time to take care of their parents and their families who often feel very lonely; and the lonely ones are likely to have pets. Secondly, owning pets of famous brand are also represent the one who has these pets is very rich; many men of wealth usually buy kinds of expensive pets to show their strength of wealthy. Last but not the least, some experts say: keeping pets can help to improve ones mental health and getting along with pets can relieve the pressure of life; let some children keep pets that can make children learn to take care of small animals, and can develop their love and responsibilities.Although keeping pets can bring happiness, relieve pressure and develop love and patience, in modern society, people are getting more and more indifferent, and they should turn most of their attention from the pets to humans; they should take care of humans instead of pets. Some psychologists say that keeping pets is a typical case of affections transferring.Nowadays, the number of pets clinic, pets club and pets park is increasing sharply. Why can people provide pets those facilities, but dont use that money to help poor children and families? Humans love distort; persons deem that the lives of pets are priceless, but the lives of humans are valueless. I wish our country can promote moral education widely and improve the moral level of humans, otherwise, our society may become incredible ugliness.People should accord their economic and mental situations to decide whether to keep pets; nevertheless, they should pay more attention to their relatives an
