Unit 5 helping our parents单元教学建议:本单元围绕孩子帮助父母做家务的话题,呈现了现在进行时态特殊疑问句和肯定句的用法。教学重点是关于家务劳动的动词短语和现在进行时态的肯定句型。教师可要求学生自带全家福和呈现家居生活的照片,或者让学生画一幅体现家居生活的画,并想一想家务活有哪些,自己做过哪些,为课堂教学做好准备。本单元由七个板块组成:Story time板块以Mike的视觉呈现了布朗一家人周六一天的生活场景。课文由上午和下午两个场景组成,主要内容是家务劳动。课文内容看似平淡无奇,但是它传递了一个信息,即在家庭生活中,每个人都有义务承担一些力所能及的家务劳动。Fun time板块以棋盘游戏的形式呈现了一个问答活动,可以在同桌之间或者四人小组内操作完成。 Grammar time本板块归纳呈现了现在进行时的特殊疑问句和肯定句。同事归纳了本单元出现的动词现在分词形式。Sound time 板块呈现了字母组合ing在单词中的发音. Cartoon time 呈现关于瓢虫的科普知识。Bobby在花园里种植了葡萄,葡萄又大又甜,引来了害虫。正当害虫肆意啃食葡萄的时候,飞来了一些瓢虫。瓢虫赶走了害虫后,它们自己却津津有味的吃起了葡萄来。Bobby 一脸疑惑:这些瓢虫不是来帮我的吗? 本部分再现了本单元的现在进行时。Checkout time 板块有两个活动,look and write 为看图写话活动。Listen number and say为听力训练,是Story time 的延续,呈现了Mike一家周末晚上的生活场景。Ticking time 部分诗自评框的要求包括:1、要求学生能说出几种家务。2、要求学生能正确运用现在进行时。3、要求学生了解字母组合ing在单词中的读音。在语法教学方面,教师可从一般现在时引入现在进行时态,用对比的形式呈现。教师也可将五上第四单元like doing作为现在分词的引入点。本单元的教学词汇是关于家务劳动的动词短语,且都是动宾结构,师生可先复习学过的相关动词,再进行拓展。教学目标:1. 能听懂、会说、会读单词parent, sweep the floor, wash the dishes grow, pest, ladybird, go away.2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写短语:clean, cook, busy, garden, sweet.3. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型及回答:What are you doing? Im What is he/she doing? He/She is4. 能知道字母组合ing在单词中的读音。5. 能唱歌曲Polly, put the kettle on教学重点:1. 句型: What are you/they doing? What is he/she doing? 及其回答Im/They/We areHe/She is2. 词汇:clean, cook, busy, garden, sweet.3. 语音:字母组合ing在单词中的读音。教学难点:1.句型: What are you/they doing? (教师做动作、学生猜) Do you want to have a try? (一个学生做动作,其它学生猜。)【设计意图:复习已经学过的动名词,同时引出现在进行时。】Step2 Presentation and practice:1. Look , who are they? What are they doing?课件出示Mike 和 Helen 的图片,让学生猜他们在做什么?从而引出课题:They are helping their parents。(出示课题)2. Watch the cartoon and choose。T: We know Mike is helping his parents .What is Mike doing?(在看之前给学生这个问题,让他们带着好奇心和目的性去观看)Lets watch the cartoon. (播放课文动画)T:What is Mike doing?In the morning In the afternoon . A. He is cleaning the table(板书clean the table)B. He is cleaning the car.(学生回答同时出示板书clean the car 学生跟读。T: Mike is helping his father cleaning the car。把他爸爸头像贴到黑板上。In the afternoon 。请学生回答,并把afternoon贴到黑板上。【设计意图:课为里涉及到上下午两个部分,正好在通过问这个问题把文章morning和afternoon部分分开来,便于学生整体理解。这里用两个选项给他们选,这样在第一遍观看后完成就不会太难。】3.Listen to page 48 and match。T: We know Mike is cleaning the car in the morning。What are they doing?(指着幻灯上的别的三人问。)Lets listen to page 48 and match。Mike is cleaning the carHelen is cooking break fastMikes mother is sleepingTim is sweeping the floorT: What is Helen doing? (出示sweet 这一单词,自然引出sweep 的读音。)S: Helen is sweeping the floor? 板书sweep the floor,学生跟读。同样方法讲授What is Mikes mother doing?T: Mike is cleaning the car。 Helen is sweeping the floor。 They are busy.(新授busy) Mikes mother is cooking break fast。 T: Is Tim busy?S:No. T: What is he doing?S: .T: Great, now, look at here, boys ask , girls answer.设计意图:帮助学生巩固教师所授的新句型:What is he/ she doing?
