Board Design.Analysis of the teaching material(一) Status and Function Unite 4 Wildlife protection is an important lesson in this book. The topic is the importance of wildlife protection. The students will be very interested in such a topic, but the habitats of the wildlife is threatened. So it is helpful to make the Ss know more about the current condition of wildlife. Let them do more to help wildlife. It also can help students to attain listening, speaking and reading skills. Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material. (二)Teaching aims Language knowledge aims : a. Enable the Ssto grasp some words and expressions such as, dinosaur/inspect/incident/ dust/to come into being/according to and so on. Ability aims : a. To improve studentslistening, speaking and reading ability by reading the passage. To improve the studentsreading ability, especially their skimming and scanning ability. b. To train the students how to use their own words to express their ideas about wildlife protection. c.
