From the moment they wake up, they take a shower at an amazing speed, and then rush out of the door and go to work. Everything flies by at the speed of light. Our lives are meant for so much more than that. We are only on this earth for a short time and if we compare our lives to that of the millions or even billions(数十亿)of years past, then we would find that our life time is like a blink(眨眼)of an eye. Life is meant to be enjoyed. We should take some time every day and be thankful for everything and everyone in our lives. We are moving way too fast to even say“please”or“thank you”. We should stop once in a while, look around and be grateful. Our lives are beautiful. Cherish(珍爱)each and every day as if it were your last!Today a young door-to-door sales man knocked on my door. Unluckily, I could not buy what he was selling but I made sure to give him all of the attention that he needed and keep pleasant during his short visit. I did so because not too long ago I myself was doing door-to-door sales and I was thankful when people were pleasant to me, so I wanted to give him the same feelings I had gotten. I closed the door as he left and I thought how tired and hot he must have been. So, I took a bottle of water and some cold apple juice with me and went back outside to find him. He was at the next the door by that time but I caught up with him and gave him the drinks. He was very grateful and said it was the nicest thing anyone had done for him all day. I was sad to hear that he had been out all day knocking on doors and no one had even given him a glass of water. But I was pleased to him.Make your life meaningfulMaybe everyone has a had time growing up, In the process of growing up, there must be someone important to you ,Maybe you did something wrong or argued with her, but she never hates you. And she always encourages you. For me, the most important person is my English teacher Mrs Cai. When I am in trouble, she always helps me get over it.
