My friends 教学设计安阳高新区第三小学黄媛媛一、教学内容通过学习friends, strong, thin, tall, short, long hair, short hair等词,让学生知道如何描述朋友的外貌特点。二、教学目标 1.知识目标a.能正确的听读说单词:friends, strong, thin, tall, short, long hair, short hair.能用句型:I have a friend. He/ She has He/ She is正确描述朋友的外貌。c.初步认识名词单、复数的基本形式以及反义形容词的概念。2.情感目标:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立信心,掌握一定的英语基础知识,并在小组练习中培养学生合作精神。3.能力目标:能用英语进行日常问答及用形容词描述事物,培养口语交际技能。三、教学的重点和难点1.教学重点:.能正确的听读说单词:friends, strong, thin, tall, short, long hair, short hair. .能运用所学形容词正确描述人物的外貌特征。 2.教学难点:区分名词单、复数及寻找反义形容词。四、教学方法 根据小学生活泼好动, 乐于参与活动及游戏的特点,教学中我采用启发式教学法和情境教学法,配合使用图片和身势语,以读、说,做结合的方式练习英语,在小组合作中培养学生英语口语交际能力。五、教学用具图片数张,多媒体课件六、教学过程 .Warm up (Step 1. 课前热身)1. Greetings: “Hello, how are you? Whats your name? ”2. Sing the song “Friends” to lead in the new class and arouse students learning interst.【设计意图】以自由问答和歌曲的形式导入新课,活跃了课堂气氛,让学生放松心情并创设语境,为新课的学习做好铺垫。. Presentation (Step 2. 新知呈现)1. Show some pictures to learn strong, thin. T: We all have friends. I have many friends too. Lets look at some of my friends. Look, he is Winnie. He is strong. This is piggy. He is thin. Then look at pictures in my hands. Ss: Zhang Peng is strong. Wu Yifan is thin. Describe some students in class. S1: He is strong. S2: She is thin.2. Show some pictures to learn tall, short. T: Do you like Snow White? I like her too. She is thin. And she is tall, too. The dwarfs are short. Describe some students in class.S1: He is tall. S2: She is short.3. Have a chant to practice the four words.Chant : Strong thin, strong thin. Youre strong. I am thin. Tall short, tall short. Youre tall. I am short. 4. Show two pictures to practice. T: Look at the little girl. Do you know: Who is she?Yes, she is my daughter. How to describe her?Ss: She is short and thin.T: (Show a mans picture) Who is he?Ss: He is Du Haitao. He is tall and strong.5. Show other ways to describe people. T: (Show a picture of Wu Yifan) Look at Wu Yifan. Ss: He is tall and thin. T: He has short hair, small eyes, a small nose and a small mouth. Read follow the teacher. 6. Show another picture. T: Look at the girl. How about her? Ss: She is tall and thin. T: What about her hair, her eyes and her nose? S1: She has long hair, big eyes, a small nose and a big mouth. Read follow the student and describe some students in class.【设计意图】用图片的方式引入新词,在引起学生好奇心的同时也锻炼了学生英语的听说能力。在练习单词时加入竞争元素和游戏环节,激励学生比说英语,在活动中锻炼口语交际,寓教于乐,并且每一个环节的设计都是为后面的句型拓展做准备。. Practice and Consolidation (Step 3. 巩固练习 ) Look at the pictures and guess “Who is she/he?”1. Describe Yang Mi: She has long hair, big eyes, a small nose and a small mouth. She is tall and thin.2. Describe Da Xiong: He has short hair, small eyes, a small nose and a big mouth. . He is short and thin.【设计意图】通过猜明星,描述明星的长相,进一步练习了所学句型。. Extension (Step 4. 拓展训练)1. Show some sentences and guess “who is he?”I have a Chinese friend. He is a boy. He is tall and strong. He has short black hair and big eyes. Whats his name? 2. Choose four students standing before class and describe them. Then write down on the exercise book.【设计意图】通过前面单词的大量练习已为这部分做好了很好的铺垫。通过描述身边同学,联系生活实际,学以致用。最后情感升华,提醒同学们珍惜友谊。Step 5. 情感升华 教师给予引导,培养学生合理搭配饮食的意识,让学生养成健康的饮食习惯。 Tell students to cherish the friendship.Step 6. 总结提升 总结本课内容,让学生谈感受,并出示同步习题,最后布置课后作业。 Homework : 1.
