To learn to use some new sentence patterns.【能力目标】1.To understand the usage of new words.2.识记有关come across的词组和用法。【情感目标】 To stimulate students love for English. 教学重难点【教学重点】Grasp some words, phrases and sentence patterns.【教学难点】The use of “come across” and related phrases 课前准备 PPT. 教学过程This class we will learn some key word,phrases and sentence patterns. Now let us begin from the new sentence patterns.一、重点语法(1).asas基本用法 用于比较句型,中间插入的是形容词或副词的原级。意思是达到与什么相同的程度。如:He is as strong as a horse. 他力大如牛。 习惯用法 1. as soon as 意思是一.就.,引导一个时间状语从句。如:Ill call you as soon as I finish my homework. 我一完成我的作业,就给你打电话。 2. as long as 意思是长达.之久;只要.。如:She has searched the information about dinosaurs on the Internet as long as three hours. 她在因特网上搜索有关恐龙的信息已经长达三个小时。 3. as much as 意思是高达.;与.一样多。是用来表达极其多的语气。如:Some of the stones weigh as much as fifteen tons.有些石头重达15吨。(2)when作关系副词,引导限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句。 如:The days are gone forever when the Chinese people were looked down upon. 中国人民被人轻视的日子一去不复返了。在定语从句中, that 在某些条件下可用来代替 when ,这时其先行词通常是 time, day, moment, year 等。 如: I stay at home on the days that I am not busy. 在我不忙的时候,我就呆在家里。在某些含有“时间”的名词词组后面,由于该名词不表示时间,或整个名词词组已用作连词,所以不用 when 引导。如: the moment, the instant, the minute, the second 等等,意为“一就”,引导时间状语从句。 如: The first time I went to China, I visited Beijing. 我第一次来中国就游览了北京。(3)what do you think1.用来询问对方的观点或看法等,意为:你说呢? 你认为呢?你怎么看? 如:Is that the right approach? What do you think? 这个办法可行吗? 你认为呢?2.用来询问对方的安排或建议,意为:有什么事? 你有何安排? 如:A:What are you going to do on Sunday? 星期天你打算干什么?B:Ive no idea. What do you think? 还不知道,你有何安排?3.表示要告诉对方一个惊奇或意想不到的情况,意为:你猜怎么着? 告诉你一件意想不到的事。 如:What do you think?
