小学英语六年级上册Module 6 Festival教学设计一、教材分析:本模块的话题是“节日”,是学生喜闻乐见的话题,学生较为乐于学习和表达。在Unit 11 Ben, Xiaoling 和Janet谈论中国人们如何庆祝新年,拓展到中国其它节日的学习与了解上。教师应在完成基本的教学任务的基础上增加文化意识的渗透和对比,让学生积极去表达;Unit 12短文描述西方国家过圣诞节的活动,教师可就本模块内容进行相关的阅读和写作,提高学生的素质。通过中西方节日的对比学习,让学生了解西方文化,学会尊重别国的文化差异。二、学情分析:六年级学生已有4年学习英语的经验,积累了一定的词汇,有开口表达的欲望。特别是关于“节日”这个喜闻乐见的的话题,但他们自尊心较强,教师要为其创设一个轻松的语言环境,让他们勇于 、乐于开口表达。他们具备一定的分析能力和学习能力,在教师的引导下,能积极进行讨论和思考。之前已经学过的相关知识有:日期的表达、形容词的比较级和最高级、一般现在时态、一般将来时态、一般过去时态;学过的句型有:What is your favourite ? When is ? What do _ usually do .? 因此,在教学过程中要注意发挥他们的优点和特色,创设丰富的语言环境让他们综合运用语言的能力,用所学的知识完成任务,解决问题。三、单元目标:1、语言知识目标(1) 词汇 学习单词和短语:their, each other, gift, lucky, lucky money, wish, Mid-autumn Festival , mooncake, moon, race, put up, share, wonderful, hurry, bring, festival, Spring Festival ,during, sound, mountain , Christmas知道英语中有“复合词”的现象 ,学习教材中出现过的复合词。(2) 语法用一般现在时介绍节日。知道will可以表示习惯,如Parents will give their children lucky money at the Spring Festival。 (3) 句型:1)What is your favourite festival? Its. / I like _ best. 2) What do people do during (the Spring Festival)?They usually3) When is the Spring Festival ? Its on4) 用will描述习惯活动,如Parents will give their children lucky money at the Spring Festival。(4) 日常用语:It sounds great. We all love it. 2、语言技能目标(1) 能就节日的时间、习俗等进行提问。(2) 能听懂或读懂与课文难度相当的有关本模块话题的文段。(3) 能口笔头简单介绍大家熟悉的节日,如春节、圣诞节等。3、情感态度目标(1) 培养学生学习英语的兴趣,勇于表达的习惯。(2) 表达自己喜欢的节日。4、学习策略目标(1) 主动练习所学的内容,大胆用英语思考和回答问题。(2). 积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。(3). 能对已学知识进行观察,进行自行归纳和概括,或与老师同学进行讨论的学习策略。 (4). 能联系学习和生活实际,结合自己的生活实际积极运用英语知识进行表达和描述。(5) 鼓励学生通过资料收集,整理资料培养自学和合作学习的习惯。(6) 鼓励学生自主探究学习。5、文化意识目标 通过本模块的学习,渗透西方节日介绍,在教学中潜移默化地对学生进行不同国家、不同文化、不同学习生活习惯的教育,引导学生了解和学习一些西方的人文知识。比较中西方文化的差异,借此提供机会扩大孩子们的事业,增强孩子们的文化意识。通过中西方节日对比,初步了解中西方文化差异,加强文化意识渗透,加深对本土文化认同感。四、课时划分:教学课时教学内容课型教学目标 第一课时学习Unit 11 Lets talk. & Sing Along.1 .学习词汇:festival,Spring festival, during, sound, their, each other , gift, lucky, lucky money, wish, jiaozi2 学习句型1)What is your favourite festival.? T:The Spring Festival is usually in January or February. Its my favourite festival. 呈现课文课题I like the Spring Festival best.Step 2 Presentation The Spring Festival, T: Look, what festival is this?(出示春节对联及其他相关应节物品的图片) Ss: Its the Spring Festival .T: Yes, its the Spring Festival.(教学生多读几遍这个节日的单词。) 板书: the Spring Festival, the Chinese new year4.T: Do you like the Spring Festival?Ps: Yes.T: I like it too. My parents give me luck money during the festival.出示利是封学习短语lucky money(示意学生交换自备的利市封。并引出短语each other),板书短语及朗读.T: Here is the lucky money. During the Spring Festival, Parents will give their children some lucky money.(板书) Because it can bring their children good luck. Its a gift. T:Do you give your friend lucky money ?Ps: No.T: Children dont give each other lucky money.(呈现课件) Children dont give each other gifts, but parents will give their children some lucky money. (板书句子,朗读)T: What else do Chinese People do during the Spring Festival ? 然后小组讨论P1:We go to visit our friends .P2:We clean our houses.T: What do people usually eat ?Ps: Jiaozi. (呈现食物图片)5.学习课文:评价学生的讨论情况。T: All of you did a good job. Now lets see How Chinese people celebrate the Spring Festival ?(播放金太阳课件,让学生找出对话中有关节日习俗的活动的短语)在第一遍是认真的听,并且加深对刚才所学单词的读音。在听第二遍后回答黑板上的问题。在第三次放录音的时候,让学生跟读课文中的句子,每句之后停顿,让学生重点模仿句子的语音语调。 请学生分饰对话中的角色,朗读课文对话。 6.Role-play Step 3 归纳小结1、利用图片和课件引导学生说出在春节期间人们所做的事情,尝试复述和归纳课文,如:Spring Festive is usually in January or February. During the Spring Festival, people usually clean their houses, buy new clothes Step 4 巩固拓展1、播放歌曲Jingle Bell ,让学生猜测节日.T:What festival is it?P:Christmas.T: Yes,Christmas.
