Unit 1 Nice to Meet You!之 Reading and Writing教学设计与教学反思长沙县职业中专 彭江涛摘要:本文是中等职业教育课程改革国家规划新教材“外研版”英语基础模块第二册Unit One 一课中Reading and Writing的教学设计,探讨如何将新课程标准的理念融入中职英语课堂教学之中。关键词: 新理念 教学设计 中职英语教学 随着我国中学英语教学改革的不断深入,普通中学英语教学正处在向新课程标准转型的大好时期,英语教学力求体现素质教育的内涵,课堂教学正经历着从传统型向交际型教学的大转变的过程中。面对这场英语教学改革,我们中职英语教学何去何从,值得我们中职英语教师积极思考,大胆尝试。理念:中职学生学习基础差,兴趣低落,这就要求中职英语教师要有平和的心态,积极乐观的情绪和充分的耐心,采取一些有助于营造宽松的氛围的措施。如:态度要和蔼亲切,平等和谐的课堂氛围,多运用多媒体课件,教学方法的多样化,尊重学生的自尊心和个性特点,及时鼓励学生等。教会学生通过交际认识英语,掌握英语,从而达到运用英语的目的。教学设计与教学反思Teaching PlanTeaching Aims: 1. To learn some new words and phrases.2.To learn the western countries communicative rules.3. To understand the text content and can answer some questions.4To encourage the students to communicate and get them to compare the differences between Eastern and Western Countries. Teaching Important Points:1.To learn the western countries communicative rules and get students to write and act out dialogues according to the situations.2. To improve the students reading and writing abilities.Teaching Aids:Multi-media and A Tape RecorderTeaching Method: the Direct Method and Audio-lingual Method Teaching Period: A Period Teaching Procedures: Step 1. RevisionGreet several students in different ways.S1: Hello! Nice to see you. ( shaking hands with the studentsS2:Good morning! How are you today?S3:Hi! Glad to meet you.S4:Hello! My name is How do you do? 设计思路:教师要努力营造有利于学生积极参与,主动求知的宽松的学习氛围,为学生提供表现自我的空间。Step 2 Lead-in1. Play an English song “Hello”2.Show students some pictures:(shaking hands, bowing, kissing the cheek, waving hand, saying Hello , touching noses, etc.)Then ask students : 1.In which country are they used?2. How do Westerners usually greet each other when they meet?设计思路:结合多媒体课件,首先播放一首英文歌曲 “Hello”,然后用浅显的英语介绍不同国家的问候方式,在活的语境中去学习语言;同时在老师的引导下,学生对“Greeting”这个话题产生了阅读兴趣,在这样的情景中与学生进行平等交流,体现了和谐的师生关系,并将学生的思维活动引导到即将开展的阅读主题上。教学反思:导入是英语课堂教学的重要环节,高效的导入能营造浓厚的英语学习气氛,提高学生参与语言学习的活动的热情,并能化解学习内容的难度。用多媒体图片和问答引入这个话题,让学生有一种新鲜感和直观感,这样既训练了学生听力又实现了向新内容的自然过渡。通过精彩的引入,使学生对将要学习的内容产生强烈的求知欲,并激发学生与课题相关的知识网络。Step3 .ReadingTask1.SkimmingRead the text with the following questions in mind.1. Find out four rules of communication mentioned in the passage.2. What will you say if people praise your English?设计思路:Task1是培养学生的快速阅读能力,碰到不认识的词语可以通过上下文猜测其意,强调快速浏览文章获取其主要意思。Task2. Detailed reading Get students to read the passage again, this time read it carefully and try to answer the questions below. Discuss the fourth question in groups.1. How do Westerners usually greet each other when they meet?2. What do people say when they leave a party?3. Is it OK to ask about a womans age?4. Why do we have to follow some basic rules?设计思路:该教学环节主要目的在于引导学生对每段落进行细节理解,在此基础上能全面把握文章中心,了解中西方文化在交际方面的一些差异。Step4. Practicing1Play the tape for students to listen and follow, pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.2.Fill in the blanks with the words given below.formalgreetpraiseweightWhen you meet someone for the first time, it is common to 1)the person with “How do you do? ” After the first introduction, hand shaking generally takes place in more 2) situations. Otherwise, people just say “ Hi .” Never ask strangers their age or 3) , especially woman! If someone 4) you, dont forget to say “Thank you.”设计思路:此环节主要目的在于让学生通过听录音复习课文内容,同时训练学生的听力,通过填词题巩固新词汇。Step 5. Go through the situations with the whole class and divide them into two groups to write and act out two different dialogues.设计思路:通过复习新词汇,根据设定情景编造对话,达到运用语言的目的。Step 6. Homework1. Read the text again and write out the rules of communication as many as possible when you meet Westerners. 2. Preview next period Grammar.教学反思中职生英语基础普遍差,学生从心理上惧怕英语学习,心理压力大,口语表达能力差,传统的灌输教学方式以及枯燥的英语教学环境等问题的存在严重地影响了中职学校英语的教学质量,针对这些问题:1.我运用现代化的多媒体教学手段,因为合理的运用多媒体教学设施,使学生易于接受新知识,不仅做到有直观的感性认识,更有趣味的理性讲解,从而改变一成不变的课堂、严肃认真的老师、枯燥无味的环境,使学生对学习英语产生浓厚的兴趣。2. 采用直接教学法
