八年级下英语总复习大纲Unit 1 Whats the matter?Language Goal:Talk about health problem and accidents;Give advice重点:1.询问 怎么了 Whats the matter (with sb.)?=Whats the trouble?=What wrong? 2.使用 should / shouldnt 提出建议 3.反身代词:单数-self /复数 -selves 第一、第二人称的形容词性物主代词 myself ;ourselves; yourself;yourselves 第三人称的宾格 himself ;herself;itself;themselves 补充:1. 下车 get off /上车 get on 2.使某人惊讶的是 to ones surprise 例:令我惊讶的是,他有100公斤重。To my surprise, he weighs 100 kilos. 但令他惊讶的是,他们所有人都同意跟他一块去。But to his surprise, they all agreed to go with him.3.离开,从.出来get out of 例:她摆脱了困难.She gets out of trouble. 4.习惯于做某事 be used to(doing sth.) 5.曾经做某事 used to(do sth.) 例:我习惯于散步。I am used to taking a walk. 他习惯于冒险。He is used to taking risks.我曾经散步。 I used to take a walk. 他曾经冒险。 He used to take risks.6.掌控,管理 be in control of 例:一切在我掌控之中。Everything is in control of me.7.多亏,幸亏thanks to 8.因.而感谢 thanks for(doing sth.)例:多亏了王先生,医生才及时救了老人。Thanks to Mr. Wang, the doctors saved the man in time.9.如此.以致. so.that. 以便,为了so that 例:他是如此坚强,以至于继续爬山。 He was so strong that he kept on climbing mountains. 他把头朝后仰,以便止血。 He put his head back, so that he can stop the nosebleed. Unit 2 Ill help to clean up the city parksLanguage Goal: Offer help重点:1.使用 I will; I would like to.来表达提供帮助 2.用情态动词 could来表建议 3.不定式短语 help to do;would like to do;decide to do;love to do;want to do. 4.动词短语 clean up;cheer up; give out; hand out;give away;put off;call up.补充:1. 照顾care for=look after=take care of 2.帮忙做(解决)某事 help out with sth.=help with sth.3. 同时at the same time 置于句首、句中、句末都可以 例:这意味着我们将同时到达花垣。It means we can get to Huayuan at the same time. 同时不公平现象变得更加严重了。 At the same time, unfair has become worse.4. 自愿/志愿做某事 volunteer to do sth. 5.自愿花时间做某事volunteer ones time to do sth. 例:他自愿帮助无家可归的人。He volunteers to help the homeless people. 他自愿花时间去帮无家可归的人。He volunteers his time to help the homeless people.6. 因为,由于 because(接句子)=because of (接短语) 例:由于下雨我们不得不推迟运动会。Because it rains, we have to put off the sports meeting. Because of the rain,we have to put off the sports meeting. 7.立即,马上 right away=at once 例:我将马上给他打电话. Ill call him up right away/at once.Unit 3 Could you please clean your room?Language Goal: Make polite requests; Ask for permission重点:1.使用could you和could you please(do sth. / not do sth.) 提出礼貌的请求. 2.使用could I 和could we(do sth.)请求允许. 3.动词短语补充:1. 讨厌做某事hate doing sth.(强调习惯性动作)=hate to do sth.(强调一次性动作) 例:I hate doing the dishes.(总是洗碗) I hate to do the dishes.(偶尔才洗一次)2. 喜欢做某事 like doing sth.(强调习惯性)=like to do sth.(强调一次性动作)3. while 与.同时 Ill finish my homework while you help me with the dishes. 当.时候 While Linda was sleeping,Jenny was helping Mary with her homework. 然而 Most students like Peter, while I dont like him.4. 做某事是没有必要的 there is no need to do sth.5. 不知道,不了解 have no idea= dont know6. 介意做某事 mind doing sth. 不介意做某事 do not mind doing sth.7. (对某人来说)做某事是.的 Its . (做.怎么样?) Youd better do sth. (你最好.) Why dont you do sth.= Why not do sth. (为什么不.?) Lets do sth. (让我们.) 补充:1. 即使;虽然.但是. although = though (没有但是这层意思)2. 如果;是否 if 例:如果我是你,我会拒绝他。If I were you, Ill refuse him.3. 是否 whether=if 例:我不知道是否他会来。 I dont know if / whether he can come.4. 代替,反而 instead 例:吴老师生病了,我将代她的课。Miss Wu is ill,Ill take her class instead. 代替,反而 instead of (doing sth.)例:我将扫地而不是洗碗。Ill sweep the floor instead of doing the dishes.5. 给某人提供某物 provide sb.with sth. = provide sth. for sb.6. 与.相处得好 get along well with sb.= get on well with sb.7. 一直到.为止 until 例:我看电视一直看到她回来。 I watched TV until she came back. 直到.才. (not).until. 例:直到她回来我才看电视。 I didnt watch TV until she came back.Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?Language Goal:Talk about past events; Tell a story重点:1.使用when和while 引导的时间状语从句来描述过去发生的事情 2.使用过去式和过去进行时描述过去发生的事情。补充:1. 当.时候 when =while(后常接进行时,表两动作同时进行)2. 到达 get to = arrive in (接大地点)/ arrive at(接小地点) = arrive on (大小地点均可)3. 在那时 at that time 在这时 at this time (进行时的标志性时间)4. 记得做过某事 remember doing sth. 记得要做某事 remember to do sth. 例:我记得我关灯了。 I remember turning off the lights. 我记得要关灯。 I remember to turn off the lights.5. 忘记做过某事 forget doing sth. 忘记要做某事 forget to do sthUnit 6 An old man tried to move the mountainsLanguage Goal:Tell a story重点:1.用过去时、过去进行时描述寓言故事 2.运用连词: unless,as soon as和so.that.补充:1. 除非,如果不 unless 例:如果你不努力学习,就会失败。Youll fail unless you study hard. 除非你努力学习,否则你会失败。Youll fail unless you study hard.2. 一.就.as soon as 例:王子一看到她,就爱上了她。As soon as the prince saw her, he fell in love with her.3. 继续做某事 keep doing sth.= keep on doing sth.= go on soing sth.4. 足够地.以做某事 adj.+enough to do sth. 肯定形式=so.that. 否定形式=too.to.(太.而不能) 例:1.他们足够地勇敢,吃了老妇人的房子。They are brave enough to eat the old womens house.=They are so brave that they eat the old womans house. 2.他还不是老得足以上学。He is not old enough to go to school.=He is too young to go to school.Unit 7 Whats the highest mountain in the world?Language Goal:Talk about geography and nature重点:1.使用比较级和最高级对地理、自然现象进行比较。 2.比较的方法: 2.1一样 as.as 和.一样的. 2.2不一样 not as.as / not so. as 不与.一样的. 比较级:两者比较; 在前+more 或 后+er 修饰词 .得多:much; a lot; far .一点儿:a little; a bit .几倍:基数词+times 甚至:even 仍然:still 最高级:三者或三者以上比较;在前+the most 或 后+est 常用of 和 in 引导比较范围补充:1. 长、宽、高等的表达:基数词 + 单位 + 长/宽/高等 长long;宽wide;高high;深deep;面积in size 例:里海有1025米深。 The Caspian Sea is 1,025 meters deep. 2. 重量的表达: sb. / sth. weigh + 基数词 + 单位 kilo例:一直熊猫重100千克。 A panda weighs 100kilos.3. 据我所知 as far as I know= according to what I know4. 成功 success(名词) -succeed(动词)-successful(形容词:成功的) 成功做某事succeed in sth. / doing sth.Unit 8 Have you read Treasure Island yet? How +助动词+主语+like.?补充:1. 生存,生活(动词) live例:我居住在中国。 I live in China. 活着的,生动的(形容词) live 例:鸭子是活的。 The duck is live. 现场播放,现场表演(副词)live 例:我希望看到他现场演唱。 I hope to see him sing live.2. 你认为.怎么样?
