I am listening to you. Look! What is she doing? She is listening to you, too. Listen! What are they talking over there? Read the words together.教师带领学生复习现在分词的构成,可以列举一些学过的动词现在分词:如:dropping taking guessing, allowing getting arguing communicating explaining copyingreturning continuing comparing causing going picking reporting beating fallingrising realizing swimming先带读这些分词,让学生写出这些动词的原形。After we read the words, can you summarize how to change?让学生尝试总结。 8练习巩固。Write the -ing form of the words. 让学生写出下列动词的-ing形式:4a时间8 m9观察目标语,初步感知语法点。让学生观察Grammar Focus中的句子,能否注意到when 和while在链接时间状语从句的时候有没有区别,有什么区别。教师可以提问启发:Can “buy a drink” last for a long time?No, it happens only once.Can “leave the house” continue for some time?No, it happens only once.Can “take photos” continue for some time?Yes, it can last for some time.Can “play the piano” last for some time?Yes, you can play the piano for a long time.Can “sleep” last for a long time?Yes, you can sleep eight hours.10归纳语法点。Can you summarize how to use “when” and “while”?要求学生归纳when和while的用法:when用于引导短暂性动词表达的时间状语从句;while用于引导延续性动词表达的时间状语从句。11完成对应练习。Write sentences with both while and when in 4a. 学生笔头完成4a,同时可以请几个学生到黑板上写出他们的句子,核对答案。 12复习与语法点相关动词。Lets review the verbs. 和同学们一起复习学过的短暂性动词:stand stand up sit sit down sleep fall asleep 教师要在对比中让学生有基本理解,然后给一组词让他们区别。13完成对应练习。Fill in the blanks in 4b. 学生笔头完成4a,同时可以点几个学生到黑板上写出他们的句子,核对答案。Read the passage loud together. 要求大声朗读短文,核对答案。 14口语练习,进一步理解短文。Work in pairs and ask questions about the writer. 要求学生两人一对,用What was the writer doing when / while .? 句式对短文进行提问。在课堂上展示对话。4c时间6 m15按要求笔头完成表格。First, write down what you were doing at the time in the chart.让学生先完成表格中关于自己的一栏。Then, ask you partner and finish the whole chart. 小结时间2 m16总结本课所学目标语。让学生跟读Grammar Focus中的句子。拓展时间7 m17拓展练习动词加宾语的词块。1教师请两位同学上前,交代游戏程序和规则。2学生从4c对话开始: A: What were you doing at 9:00am last Sunday morning? B: I was sleeping. How about you? A: I was. Oh, I dont tell you. Guess please! B: Were you sleeping, too? A: No, I wasnt so lazy. I was doing. (or taking / playing /) B: Doing what?
