Module 1 Life in the Future本模块授课板块处理思路：共需要5课时，内容处理如下：第一课时：预习并记忆单词，进行下列内容：Page 1 Introduction, 布置预习作业：预习Page 2的文章，完成1、2、3、4、5、6练习题。第二课时：学习Page 2的文章，订正1、2、3、4、5、6练习题答案。讲解知识点。第三课时：处理Listening and Speaking第四课时：处理Grammar, Function, Everyday English第五课时：处理Writing 和Cultural CornerA Teaching plan（供第二课时使用）Teaching aims: Enabling the students to 1. grasp the main idea of the passage in Reading and Vocabulary.2. master the usage of some language pointsImportant & difficult points:Grasp the main idea of the passage.Teaching methods:Listening, practicing.Teaching steps:I. Warming-upAsk the students the following question:What will the city of the future be like in your view? Ask one or two students to express their ideas. Correct the mistakes if any.II. Come to the passage on Passage 2. 1. Listen to the tape:Now we are going to listen to the tape. While listening, try to find the answer to these two questions: 1.) What will we use in the future? -Lots of recycled materials, such as plastic, aluminium, steel, glass, wood and paper. 2.) What will happen to space travel? -Travelling in space by ordinary citizens will be common. After listening, check the answers with the students.2. Ask the students to read the passage to get more information. And then check how much the students have learned from the passage by doing the following exercise.
