9Aunit One 教学设计与思考一、教学思路设计 1. 通过David 自我介绍,设计两个问题给学生去听What is his post? What good qualities does he have?一方面引出个性特征,另一方面锻炼学生的听力理解,同时帮助学生很快进入课堂学习中。 2.知道David有哪些好的个性特征之后,通过图片展现其他几个学生的活动,要求学生说出他们的个性特征。分两层展现:不认识的其他国家的个别学生;展现大家熟悉的Simon 的五张照片,先分解一张一张展现,学生描述,然后五张图片同时展现,让学生以短文的形式呈现出他的优秀的个性品质。目的:复习两个重要句型:It is + adjective+of +to-infinitive; Verb-to be+adjectieve enough + to-infinitive. 让学生在一定的语境中运用语言知识,提高运用知识的能力和习得优秀品质;由口头陈述短文形式,为下面写完整的推荐信作铺垫,这是推荐信的核心部分。3.了解其他学生的个性之后,让学生说说自己的优秀品质。目的是让学生认识自己的优秀品质,自觉树立和培养优秀的品质特征,增强学生自信心。同时也为接下来的任务扫除障碍。4.既然学生有这么多的优秀品质,那么为学生走上社会一定有帮助。呈现通知,联系上海世博会招收志愿者,告诉学生做志愿者的工作对我们很有帮助,激发学生当志愿者的兴趣。但是,必须向他们的主席写一封推荐信。考虑到学生写出的个性对志愿者没有关联,所以设计一个问题:What good qualities should we have to be a volunteer? 给小组讨论, 给出示范,用粗记号笔把个性和事例写在白纸上。例如: friendly, wear a smile on ones face 并做口头解释:I am friendly to wear a smile on my face. It can show I am warm-hearted to welcome all the guests from all over world. 小组讨论,把结果写好贴在黑板上。5.给出要点提示:要求推荐自己或是一个同学;要求短文分三段写:Introduction: Tell the chairperson the purpose of writing this letter. Main body: Describe your own good characteristics suitable for a volunteer. Conclusion: State what you want from the chairperson;将推荐信对收信人的问候以及落款板书在黑板上,给学提示书信的格式。5.找出愿意读出推荐信的志愿者,其他学生一边听一边看展示的成果,注意有无错误(设计为对短文改错的练习)。一封推荐自己,一封推荐别人。6.布置作业:互相检查订正推荐信,读相关文章,学习他们的优秀品质。(有纯粹思想教育的嫌疑,)二、教学过程1. Free talk Boys and girls, please allow me to introduce myself to you first. Im your new teacher and you can call me Ms Gu. Good morning, everyone.( Good morning, Mr Gu) Im glad to spend these forty-five minutes with you.Boys and girls, I think it is important for all of us to learn to recommend ourselves in our whole life. Do you think so?(Yes.) So this class, Id like to try my best to improve your skill to recommend yourselves.2. Presentation T: Do you know David? (Yes. ) We have learned something about him in Unit 1. Ive got good news for you. I have asked David to our class. Do you want to meet him?(Yes.) David, come in, please. This is David. Lets give him a warm welcome.(clap hands) David, would you like to introduce yourself to us all? (Yes, of course) Boys and girls, please listen to David carefully with the following questions. Q1: What is his post? Q2: What good qualities does he have? You can write down keywords while you are listening. David, you can start now.(Listening and answering)Boys and girls, we have learned Davids qualities. Lets look at some pictures on the screen and tell me their qualities with your own words.(Talk about pictures and write down two useful structures on the blackboard.( It is + adjective+of +to-infinitive. Verb-to be+adjectieve enough + to-infinitive.)We know that David and some other students have a lot of good qualities. What good qualities do you have? Ask some of you to state your good qualities.3. ProductionLook at the screen. Here is a notice. Read the notice with me. Shanghai will host the 2010 Worlds fair(世博会). We need some volunteers. Please write a recommendation letter to be a volunteer. Many students would like to be volunteer in Beijing Olympic games. They say it meaningful for them to do voluntary work. Do you want to be a volunteer of Shanghai worlds fair?(Yes.) We should be confident enough to be a good volunteer. What should we do if we want to be a volunteer from the notice? Yes, we must write a recommendation letter. Before writing, lets talk about what good qualities we should have to be a volunteer. Id like to give you an example.(Write on the paper.) We should be friendly to wear a smile on our faces. That can show that we are warm-hearted to welcome the guests from all over the world.Work in groups Write your ideas on the paper and then stick it on the board.Read your ideas together. (Add: love peace, not argue with others, get on/along well with others)Write a letter to the chairperson to recommend yourself or your classmate to be a volunteer. Look at main points and give you greeting and closing.Revise the letters.4. HomeworkCheck their letters in groups.Read some articles about some great men and learn good qualities from them.5. Time is up. Well have to stop now. For todays homework:You should realize your qualities and try to build more good qualities. Then you can contribute towards our country better. What good qualities does he have?一方面引起学生对自我推荐的兴趣和自我推荐的冲动,另一方面学生们认真听讲积极思考问题。 David 自我介绍,引发学生兴趣,它对学生一生中勇于推荐自己做了正面的示范, 提出的两个问题,What is his post?这个问题会使学生因思考关注这道题而忽视对What good qualities does he have?主要问题的理解和关注,第二个问题,它不仅有助于学生认真听并积极思考问题的好习惯的养成,而且使学生听的同时,学会抓住主要信息 思考:紧扣课题,呈现有用的几个形容人的个性特征的形容词和推荐自己的方式,体现知识目标;通过听一段500多字的短文,有效锻炼了学生的听力,达到预期的能力目标;引发学生积极学习David这样一名优秀的学生,并且自信从容地站在讲台前做自我介绍的情感目标。2. 展开阶段的生成与思考生成内容:通过图片展现其他几个学生的活动,要学生说出他们的个性特征;了解其他学生的个性之后,让学生说说自己的优秀品质。预设点:复习两个重要句型:It is + adjective+of +to-infinitive.
