Although improving alluracy is an important aspect of language learning and should never be ignoued,its far more important for students to learn to communicate effectilely.Most grammatical mistakes dont seriously affect communication.I persisted with my activetybased,student centered approach in teaching English until,by the end of the month,The integrated curriculum project approach is used in every unit as a way to motivate students to work on a variety of tasks using a variety of skills to produce with their classmates a worth while final product.Diary of week2I prepared these lesson plans that contain teaching strategies that focus students on the goal of the lesson .I have an open attitude torard foreign cultures and share with students what they know about hon foreign cultures differ from the Chinese cultrre.I started with listening and speaking .I made liberal use of visuals,Used the photographs,drawings and cartoons.that were provided in our texts and CDs to illustrate and reinforce the meanings of vocabulary words,Ihad the students take parting inlive dramatizations to illustrate lessons in the texts.Then assigned some repetitive drillexercises toprovide proutice in basic vocabulary and grammar,but teachers should not overdo this .When I do lecture,give Ss time to think about and apply what I told them through frepuent writing cutionties Provide plenty of explicit instruction to develop the students skills in written communication and interpuetation.Appropriate encouragement should be given to Ss to reinforce their initiatives.Diary of week 3During teaching in this week,training Ssfour skills and communication are more important than grammar only I enwuraged Ss to independentstudy because they are in Grede snow.Language teaching begins with the spoken language,Material is taught orally before it is presented in written form.New language points are introduced and practiced in situations.vocabulary is carefully selected to ensure that an essential general service vocabulary is covered.Items of grammar are graded following the principle that simple forms should be tought before complex ones.Reading and writing are introduced once students have a sufficient knowledge of vocabulary.and grammar.The teacher obtains the studentsattention and repeats an example of thepatterns of a word in isolation dearly,several times, probably saying it slowly at least one,sparating the words.Teacher gives aclear instruction to mark time and stress,Then asks several individual students to repent the model inorder to check their promunciation.The teacher encourages Ss to make guesses and learn from their errors.In going beyond what they have been taught they are encouraged to use a variety of communication strategies.Diary of week 4In this week,it is especially important to take my studentslearning styles into auount when you are teaching Englich language .The learners work integrates the knowedge,skills,and language items in each week,A clear and purposeful context for Ss learning and in volves them in meaningful teamwork and cooperative activities .Every sevtion ands with an cutioity or task sometimes individually,often in groups and occasionally as a class,put together the product of all the other smaller tasks they have been engaged in to produce aproject.These activities allow students to work toroards avisible goal,which makes learning move meamingful and cohesive.Throughout this process language is used for communicative and reallife purposes.That provided natural themes for i
