Unit7 How much are these pants? 教学案例设计 宜昌市八中 万方艳1.设计简述: 本课程是人教版 Go for it七年级英语上册Unit7 How much are these pants?(Section A)的教学设计。其指导思想是依据新课标,采用任务型语言教学模式,通过促进学生语言技能、交际功能、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养的整体发展来培养学生综合语言运用能力。本课程学习的主题是询问价格(ask about prices),谈论衣物(talk about clothing)、感谢他人(thank someone)。都是与日常生活密切相关的内容,是英语学习非常有用的知识和技能,符合新课标倡导的学会学习、学会生活的基本理念。虚构商场购物场景,力争在课前营造一种轻松的学习氛围,让学生尽快地融入进课堂,期间还有成对做练习,成组做练习,把学生分成两两小组或四人小组,互相对话。2.教材分析:(1)根据课程标准,本课内容的知识体系(地位和作用),创造性地处理教材(2)分析本课教学的目标,要求明确、具体、恰当,符合课标要求和学生实际,讲出依据,各个环节如何落实教学目标(3)分析本课内容重、难点及确定依据,如何在教学中把握本节课是第七单元的第一课时,学生在前一单元初步学习完有关食物的英语知识之后,进一步地在本单元学习有关服饰的知识。而本课时是第一课时,所授的知识点应该浅显易懂,不应该太难。本课时围绕着几个关于服饰的词汇和两个询问价钱的句型展开。本节课的教学内容以Section A部分为主:SectionA1a-1c(P41)主要是引入新句型How much are these pants?以学生熟悉的日常生活来教授和操练此句型的单复数形式。Section A部分有4个模块:第一模块围绕“How much are these pants? ”这一话题展开思维(1a)、听力(1b)、口语(1c)训练;第二模块围绕“Clothing and prices” 进行听力(2a-2b)、口语训练(2c);第三模块继续就上一模块中的“Clothing and prices”这一话题展开训练,训练形式为角色表演(3a)和(3b);第四模块仍就“Clothing and prices”,以记忆游戏活动形式展开比赛。本节课的教学目标:1学会用“How much is/ are.? ”询问价格;2 掌握购物时的惯用语;3 了解不同国家的货币;4 注意 “this, that, these, those” 与名词的搭配。但由于汉语与英语两种语言的差异,汉语中没有名词单复数,而且本课程中句型 “How much is .” “How much are.”,学生必须要学会区分主语的单复数,这个知识点对学生来说是一个难点。在设计本课时,我对原教材内容和教学顺序作了适当地调整。 首先我将和购物相关的 个主要教学句型和内容整合在一起同时操练,如打招呼“Can I help you?”、问颜色“What color is it?”问价格“How much is/ are?”并逐步变换名词单复数对其进行反复操练。考虑到本课程的难度和学生的接受情况,对于原教材我只选取了Section A 部分的1a, 1b, 1c,. 并适当地补充基数的学习,将其整合在每个教学环节中。亮点与反思:本课设计的力求对教材深度开发和整合利用。为了激发学生的学习兴趣,根据学生的实际学习情况,以原教材为基础,适当地强调重点知识的学习,从而最优化地使用教材和最大化地提高教学效果。3.学情分析:(1)分析学生原有的认知基础,即学生所具备的与该内容相联系的知识、技能、方法、能力等,以确定新课的起点。(2)确定促进学生有效学习,解决困难的思路和策略。对于七年级第一学期的学生来说,虽然经过小学几年的英语学习,但学生层次差别很大。有的学生经过半学期的初中英语学习,有了较大的进步,对一般现在时,名词单复数等其它英语基础知识有了一定的积累,这些对本课的学习都有帮助。 对于可能出现的困难,我想可以从以下几个方面去解决。首先,对于句型的学习,可以先让学生对同类句型仔细观察对比,发现总结规律,然后再反复造句举例练习。对于学生容易犯错误的单复数问题,在讲授过程中应该反复强调。语言学习不能因为学生容易犯错误而制止其表达,老师在课堂上多肯定、多表扬、多鼓励的评价方法仍然是提高学生积极性,提高学生语言能力的重要途径。 亮点与反思: 本课学情分析的亮点是从心理学的角度,对学生的学习心理进行分析,发现学生学习心理需求和心理障碍;从自己的教学实践经验出发,准确定位学生学习可能遇到的语言学习困难;以教育学理论为依据,采取恰当有效的教学方法来解决学生的学习困难。4、教学目标设计:用具体、明确、可操作的行为语言,描述本课的知识、技能、能力、方法、情感、态度、价值观等方面的教学目标。(一)语言知识目标1.能正确运用how much引导的特殊疑问句,询问价格,并做出正确的回答。如:-How much are these pants? -Theyre nine dollars.-How much is this T-shirt?-Its seven dollars.2. 学习谈论服装的颜色,以及谈论对服装的喜好和购物时使用的礼貌用语。 如:Can I help you? Yes, please. I want aWhat color do you want?Red. Here you are. How much is it? Ten dollars. Ill take it. Thank you. Youre welcome3. 复习基数词,并能正确地使用价格表示方法,如:one dollar, three dollars4. 能掌握并使用以下词汇:socks, shirt, T-shirt, sweater, shoe, skirt, sale, dollar, color, black, white, red, green, blue, yellow, big, small, short, long, help, want, welcome, example, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, clothes, store, come, buy, very, price, each, anybody, afford, our, see, yourself, Mr, sell, from, sorry5 交际用语询问某物是什么Whats this? Theyre2. 能正确使用购物时使用的礼貌用语,如:Can I help you? Here you are. Ill take it. Thank you. 3. 能读懂有关服装广告的短文,并提取有效信息。4. 能写简单的有关服装商店的销售广告或者调查报告。(三)情感态度目标1在谈论服装购买的同时,有意识地引导他们选择适合学生穿着的服装。2在“服装买卖”的主题下,强调礼貌得体地待人接物的意识。3学会了解伙伴的喜好,相互沟通,相互合作,相互尊重。(四)文化意识目标1了解各个国家及地区的人们购物及着装习惯的不同。2因各国各地区文化意识、实际情况的差异,引导学生接受各种不同的着装风格。(五)学习策略目标1交际策略:通过pairwork和survey, 帮助学生实现语言的交际和交流, 通过“ask and answer”鼓励学生个性化问答,主动参与到课堂学习活动中。2资源策略:鼓励学生利用多种资源收集各种服装的表达法。3认知策略:大胆猜测单词意思,积极进行口语实践,并通过撰写调查报告提高自己处理数据的能力。4调控策略:通过课堂各项活动反馈, 不断反思,明确学习现状,适时调控学习策略。5.重点难点设计:本课的教学重点和教学难点及依据1 教学重点(1)重点词汇:socks, shirt, T-shirt, sweater, shoe, skirt, sale, dollar, color, black, white, red, green, blue, yellow, big, small, short, long, help, want, example, clothes, (2)重点句型:How much are these pants? Theyre nine dollars.How much is this T-shirt? Its seven dollars.Can I help you? Yes, please. I want aWhat color do you want? Red. Here you are. How much is it? Ten dollars. Ill take it. Thank you. Youre welcome2 教学难点(1)能正确运用how much引导的特殊疑问句,询问价格,并做出正确的回答。如:-How much are these pants? -Theyre nine dollars.-How much is this T-shirt?-Its seven dollars. 区分单复数和用法。(2)要求学生在实际购物场景中,能正确的使用交际以及礼貌用语如:Can I help you? Yes, please. I want aWhat color do you want?Red. Here you are. How much is it? Ten dollars. Ill take it. Thank you. Youre welcome(3)正确地使用基数词的表达方式,七年级第一课中学习过基数词即电话号码,只需要掌握十以内几个数就可以了。另外在接下来的第八课要学习序数词,这个知识点对学生来说又会是一个难点。所以在本课程的教学过程中,强调基数词的掌握尤其重要。6.教学策略与手段:本课教学中所运用的教学模式、教学策略和教学手段,包括课前准备:(1)学生的学习准备;2教师的教学准备;3教学环境的设计与布置;4教学用具的设计和准备。 本课采用“任务型”的教学模式,让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。在学习过程中进行情感和策略调整,以形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。本课采用的教学方法有:1)情景教学法,设置商场购物的教学情景,使学生身临其境,将具体生动的形象展示给学生,使教学在生动活泼的情景中进行,提高学生兴趣。2)多媒体辅助教学法。运用多媒体来辅助教学并贯穿整个教学过程。这样增加了直观性和趣味性,加大了课堂密度,提高了教学效果。3)合作学习法,让学生开展小组合作调查活动,培养学生的合作意识。 本课的教学手段主要以多媒体来辅助教学。1)学生课前准备:让学生预习课文内容,背诵单词,让学生对课堂学习打下良好的基础。2)教师教学准备:教师要制作多媒体课件,准备一些小道具。3)教学环境的设计和布置:将学生分组,并安排小组长,做好适当的准备。7. 教学过程:这是教学设计的主体部分。分几个环节具体说明教学活动的安排,包括学生学习活动、教师指导活动、师生交互活动。Unit7 How much are these pants?-人教版 Go for it七年级英语上册Step 1. Warming up: imagining in a big store Ask one or more students to show their work.T: In the last unit, you were asked to make a survey of some clothes and prices in a clothes shop. Now who would like to display your work before us? Talk about clothes.T: I like shopping a lot. Do you like shopping? Now come with me to the clothes shop. (Show students some pictures of a clothes shop by PPT.)T: Do you like the clothes in the shop?S: Yes, we do.T: Can you name these clothes in English?(Show a picture of a T- shirt by PPT.)T: Whats this in English? Its a T- shirt. T-S-H-I- R-T, T- shirt. Now repeat.S: T-shirt.T: Is this a T-shirt?S: Yes, it is.设计说明:力图营造轻松的卖场环境,激发学生学习兴趣,顺利导入新课的主题任务。Step 2. Leading in: learning cardinal numbersPlay the video about numbers by PPT.T: And then review the numbers and learn the words related to prices. T: Can you count from 0 to 9 in English?S: Yes. Zero, one, two, three, four, fiveLet some students repeat that. Show some pictures of clothes by PPT. Show some pictures of money from different countries, and ask students guess the names and teach them: yuan / dollar / pound. Then ask students about the prices. Help them answer T: How much is the hat?S: Its three dollar. T: How much are the shoes?S: Its nine dollars.T: How much are the socks?S: Theyre five dollars. (Teach the words of clothing as follows. socks, shorts, sweater, bag, hat, pants, shoes, skirts)T: (Point at a sweater) Whats this in English?S: Its a sweater.(Write “sweater” on the blackboard.) T: (Point at a students pants) what are these in English?S: They are pants. (Write “pants” beside “sweater”. Encourage students to repeat the new words on the blackboard.)T: Now I want you to read the new words on the blackboard by yourselves. Then I will ask some students to read them aloud to the class.设计说明:利用PPT等这些先进的教学设备,让课堂教学活动变得更活泼,力求让学生学有所得,为下一单元的序数词的学习打下良好的基础。Step 3. Section A 1a: Matching the words with the things in the pictureAsk the students to look at the picture on P41 and match the words with the things in the picture.T: Now we have some new words on the left of the picture and some things marked with a, b, c. and i. Please match the words with the objects in the picture by writing the letter of the objects on the lines next to the words. The first answer is given.Check the answers by asking some students to read the words and the letters. T: In this unit, we will learn how to ask about prices. First look at the picture on P41. What can you see in the picture? Hold up the picture and point to picture b.T: Whatre these in English?S: Theyre socks.(Repeat the word socks twice.)T: How much are the socks?S: Theyre two dollars. They are asking about prices. Now please make up conversations in pairs with real things and money and read the conversations. Then ask some students to act them out.设计说明:本阶段要强化新词汇的学习,有关服饰的单词对七年级的学生来说,在本阶段的英语学习中,使用频率并不高,所以记忆会有些难度。Step 4. Section A 1b: Listening and circling the things in the picture you hearAsk the students to listen to the recording and compare their answers with those in the recording. T: Next well hear a conversation about shopping. The recording will be played twice. For the first time, listen to it carefully. Are you ready? OK!T: For the second time, please circle the things in the picture you hear. Check the answers. And then ask students to work in pairs and practice the conversations in la.设计说明:本课题是听说课,听力对学生来说要求从七年级就要养成良好的习惯,特点是强调对价格的听写,这个是难点。Step 5.
