Unit6 Do you like bananas?(说课稿) Hello, everyone. Today I am very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is “Do you like bananas” taken from unit 6 in the Students Book I . It is made up of 5 parts.Part I. Analysis of the students1, Ss have learnt some simple words about food.2, They are lack of vocabulary.3, They have not known how to express like and dislike.Part II. Analysis of teaching materialSs should know how to communicate with others about like and dislike. They should do some listening, speaking, writing, as well as reading. Make Ss understand food better.Part III. Teaching goals1, Knowledge Goal:Make Ss master some key words, structures and important gramma.2, Ability Goal:Make Ss have a good knowledge of food and make some simple dialogues,3, Moral Education GoalsMake Ss realize that it is important to care about people by knowing peoples like and dislike.Part IV. Teaching theories, methods, aids1, teaching theoriesMake Ss the real masters in class while the teacher himself acts as director. Combine the language structures with the language functions. Let Ss receive more moral education while they are learning the English language.2. Teaching proceduresI have prepared the following steps to train their ability listening,speaking, reading and writing.Step 1: lead in a. Give a video in Chinese about all kinds of food in our daily life. b. After the video, ask Ss “Do you like these foods?” “Do you know how to speak these foods in English?”Purpose: By doing this, I want to catch my Ss attention and cheer up the class.Step 2: presentation. Learn new words with picturesa. Show Ss pictures and ask what they are.b. Write new words on the board. (Word list: apple, pear, banana)c. Let Ss listen and write the new words they have heard.d. Check the answer.Purpose: In this step, I want to introduce new words and make my Ss have a general understanding of food.Step 3: practiceIn this step, there are 3 small parts:1). Pair worka. Make Ss role play a dialogue.b. Give instructions. Walk around and provide help where needed. Write important sentences on the board.2). Group worka. Let Ss make a list of food to be bought. If you are going on a picnic with a group of friends.b. Give instructions. Walking around and provide help where needed. At the same time, I will write important sentences on the board. (Important sentences: Do you/they like apples/pears? Yes/No, I/they do/dont.Does he/she ?Yes/No, she/he does/doesnt.)3). Play a gameThe game is how many words can you add to the lists? Fruit: -Vegetable: -Ss try their best to add new words and volunteers show their answers.Purpose: Through practice I want my Ss grasp the important structures.Step 4: ConsolidationIn this step, I will come up with the important part of this lesson and ask my Ss to pay more attention to the difficult part.Purpose: In this step, my purpose is to let my Ss have a good understanding of this lesson.Step 5: HomeworkWrite about what you have for breakfast, lunch, dinner.Talk about food with your parents.Step 7: Teaching reflectionBecause the topic is food, which is close to our daily
