小学英语六年级下(PEP8)Unit2新授课教学设计Unit2 Whats the matter , Mike?Part A Lets learn赣州市文清路小学 郭惠一、教学内容:1、学习表达身体状况的词汇及短语:have a cold, have a fever, have a headache, have a toothache, have a sore throat, hurt.2、学习问答身体情况的句型“Whats the matter?I have a . /My hurts.”并在实际情景中运用。3、吟唱Lets chant部分歌谣。二、教学目标:知识目标:1、能听、说、读、写表达身体状况的词汇及短语。2、能听、说、认读句型“Whats the matter?I have a . /My hurts.”并在实际情景中运用。3、会吟唱Lets chant部分歌谣。能力目标:1、能简单的询问他人的身体状况。2、能简单的表达自己或他人的身体状况。情感目标:培养学生团结友爱、关心他人的良好品质。三、教学重、难点:1、教学重点:听、说、读、写表达身体状况的词汇及短语,并会用所学句型询问及表达身体情况。2、教学难点:单词throat的发音及在实际情景中如何简单询问他人身体状况,表达自身身体状况。四、教学方法:律动教学法、直观教学法、情境教学法等五、教学准备:录音机、磁带、单词卡片、多媒体课件等六、教学过程:Step1 Organization of classStep2 Warm-up1. Lets chantHave the Ss chant after the tape, then chant together.How are you feeling? Fine. How are you?I have a headache. I have the flu.How are you feeling? Fine. How are you?Im feeling better. Im as good as new.设计意图活跃课堂气氛,把学生的注意力引入到紧张有序的课堂学习中来。2. Give a duty reportOne student gives a duty report for the whole class. According to the report, other Ss answer svevral questions.What day is it today? Whats the weather like today?How tall is xxx? And how heavy is he?设计意图每节课开始由学生就所学知识,轮流做一次1-2分钟的简短值日报告,既锻炼了学生的口语能力,也通过听报告回答问题,培养了学生的听说能力。Step3 Presentation1. 1)T: xxx, how are you today? S1: Im fine, thank you . And you? T: Im not well. I have a cold.( do an action of having a cold)Show the new phrase “have a cold” on Bb, Ss read and learn it after T, ask some Ss to say,“I have a cold.”with actions.(T shows this sentence on Bb)2)T says,“I have a cold. I should go to see the doctor. Follow me to the hospital.”设计意图师示范表演,创设感冒要去医院看医生的情境导入新课,直观易懂。2.1)T says,“ So many patients here.” Show a picture of “have a fever”on the screen, T asks, “Whats the matter with him/her?” After Ss answer, T says, “Yes,he/she has a fever. ”Teach and learn “have a fever”.Have Ss read and spell it together, and say, “ I have a fever .” with actions.Use the similar way to learn new phrases“have a headache, have a toothache, have a sore throat.” Pay more attention to the pronunciation of “th”.2) Show a picture(a boys leg hurts) on the screen, ask and answer ,learn the new word “hurt”, say, “My leg/arm/nose hurts.” (T shows this sentence on Bb)设计意图利用课件上医院里不同病人病状的图片展示,引出新授词,图词结合,让学生形象理解。3、Ss read and spell new phrases after T on Bb, Ss read the new phrases together, T does actions, Ss say phrases . Open the books, turn to P16, Ss read after the tape, then according to some pictures, complete the missing letters .设计意图通过此环节,帮助学生巩固记忆所学新词汇。Step4 Practice1. T: I have a cold. Whats the matter, xxx?S1: I have a / My hurts.T shows the sentence“Whats the matter?” on Bb, read and learn it. The whole dialongue is on the Bb, Ss read afer T. 2. Have two Ss practice it for an example. Give all the Ss two munites, practice it.then let several pairs practice.设计意图导出新句型,利用所学词汇对询问他人身体状况的句型进行替换操练,以达到学生能较熟练运用的目的及关心他人这一情感目标的升华。Step5 Consolidation and extension1.According to svevral pairs practices, T asks, “Whats the matter with xxx?” Guide Ss to say, “He/She has a .”(Show the sentence on Bb) Read it after T, get Ss to look at three famous stars photos, say, “Yang Mi/ Zhou Huajian has a ” .设计意图把所学句型“I have a ”转换成三单句型“He/She has a .”让学生知道如何转述他人的身体状况。同时,拓展了三单主语+has的用法。2. Acting: Go to see a doctorT says, “Oh, its my turn to see a doctor.” Show a dialogue of seeing a doctor(D=doctor, P=patient).D: Whats the matter?P: I have a / My hurts.D: Take this medicine. Have a good rest. .(guide Ss can add more their words, do it with actions)First,Ss listen to a dialogue between T and the doctor. Then read the dialogue after T, T and a student practice it for an example. Give Ss five minutes to practice it in groups. Let sevvral pairs to act it out.设计意图设置一个看医生的情景,让学生运用所学进行情景交际,把所学知识运用到日常生活中,体现了英语学习的生活化。Step6 Sum up1. Look at the Bb, T sums up the important contents of this lesson, pay more attention to the word“throat” and the sentence“Whats the matter?”Step7 Do some exercises1.Listening test.Listen to a short dialogue twice, number five pictures, check the answers. Listen and repeat the dialogue.2.Choosing right answers.Show some choosen exercises, give Ss several minutes to write down the answers. The check the answers.设计意图通过笔头练习的反馈,了解学生这节课所学知识的掌握情况。Step8 Description(Good to know)“From this lesson, we know health is very important to us, health is everything . So we should keep healthy. How can we keep healthy?” T gives Ss several minutes to discuss in groups, let them say some their own advice.How can we keep healthy?(Show some advice Ss said on the screen )1. Doing more sports.2. Eating more fruit and vegetables.3.Go to bed early and get up early.T says,“You said much advice. Hope all of you have a good health.”设计意图由本节课所学看医生话题拓展到怎样保持身体健康这样一个开放式的学生感兴趣的讨论,从而让学生明白保持身体健康的重要性.Step9 Homework1. Listen and read the contents on P16.2. Copy new words and phrases four times.3. Write down some advice about how to keep healthy.七、板书设计Unit2 Whats the matter , Mike?Part A Let learnhave a cold A:Whats the matter?=Whats wrong?have a fever B:I have a cold/fever/ .have a headache My leg/nose/ hurts.have a toothachehave a sore throat He/She has a cold/ .hurt八、教学反思:各项活动围绕目标展开,其中的have a sore throat 是三会单词,我适当拔高要求,使之成为四会单词。其中hurt的使用不同于其他单词,所以学生容易混淆。部分学生发音还不够到位。在设计时,我觉得throat的发音是个难点,进行了比较多的训练,学生掌握得不错,却没料到
