The Changes of Entertainment in ChinaEntertainment, what an exciting word it is! From ancient to now, every people like to entertain themselves during their leisure time. Each generation has its own entertaining characters. However, do we know what kind of entertaining changes have happened in China in the recent years? Entertainment has changed in peoples right because of the different social background and in ways because of the development of economy and technology.The right of peoples entertainment becomes much free because of the different social background. The social situation has effect on peoples life. It means that people who live in different ages have different entertaining right. The reason is that the government has the different policy during different period. In the 1930s, the right of peoples entertainment was limited. In 1937, the Lugouqiao Incident broke out in China, which symbolized the beginning of the world War in China. Since that time, China had become an old semi-colonial and semi-feudal society. My grandfather said that, at that time, the Communist Party advocated the propagating mottos of “Fighting for our countrys peace and freedom”, “Fighting for the liberation of the people” and “Fighting against the colonialism”. People were always busy fighting for their countrys reunification and the peace of world, so they had little right and extra time to entertain. At my fathers generation, peoples entertaining right was much free than my grandfathers, but also restricted by governmental policy. In those ages, people obeyed every policy which was made by government. They put the peoples profit as their top benefits. They spent much time developing heavy industry which was inspired by government and each family should work together in a collecting place. All of those constrained peoples right to entertain. In my generation, the right of entertainment has undergone tremendous changes since the gradually peaceful and steady Chinese social background, and peoples pursuit for their freedom right. Firstly, after the 1980s, because of the steady social environment, government placed their premium on promoting economic development. In order to develop economy, government encourages people to entertain. For example, citizens can spend their leisure time unrestricted suffering internet, traveling. Secondly, in the modern time, people are the masters of the country, so they begin to pursue their free right. They think that they have the right to determine the ways and time of their entertainment and they can do everything they want legally to amuse themselves. The way of entertainment also has changed more diversely, because of the development of economy and technology. If one countrys economy is strong, they will have lots of money to support their countrys other businesses, such as show business. Meanwhile, if the education has improved, the more advanced entertaining facilities will be invented or brought in. Under the conditions of diverse entertaining way, people will enjoy their life more.In the 1930s, the entertaining way was really limited owing to the backward economy. The Word War resulted in the poverty and chaos for China, so people had no money to purchase extra facilities to entertain. According to my grandfathers words, at that time people just played with their siblings, herded sheep on the field, swam in river, caught fish from river and shoot birds with slingshot. Sometimes they enjoyed dramas performed by their neighbors or themselves. Peoples entertaining manner was traditional and simple in that age.After the 1960s, peoples entertaining way began to enrich due to the development of industry and technology. My father said that they had broadcast to enjoy themselves when they were young. They often sit together and listened to the broadcast when they finished dinner. They also had bikes to ride everywhere for fun. Singing reform songs when they were working together with other was also a better way to spend their leisure time. In one word, the entertaining ways were really multiplied and advanced at my parents age.In my generation, the way of entertainment is more diversified because of the rapid development of economic, advanced science and technology. At first, due to the economic reform and globalization, Chinese economy has made a great progress. Now, besides the physical gratification, people incline to seek mental satisfaction and body-building. They travel everywhere to broaden their horizon, play table tennis and basketball for their body-building. They also hang out with their friends or holding parties for fun. Secondly, the advanced science and technology can offer people many advanced entertaining facilities. People can amuse themselves by searching internet, shooting balloons with electronic gun to experience the real sense. All those aspects make entertaining way more diversifier.Because of different social environment, economic and technological level, entertainment has changed in peoples right and ways. Time sent each generation different gifts of entertaining ma
