Show some pictures of cultural relics both home and abroad.2. Then, ask them a question: Do you know what a cultural relic is? To let the students know the definition about cultural relics.3. Show students some pictures and ask them to judge whether they are cultural relics.4. Ask them questions: have you ever seen a piece of amber? What do you know about it? Do you want to know more about the amber? So this class we will read a passage, whose title is in search of the amber room. And in the passage we will know more . Step 3 Fast reading Read the passage quickly and finish these tasks 1. Whats the main idea of this text? 2. Find out the main idea of each paragraph.
