新型的高负荷填料的开发 既提高了塔的通过 能力和分离效能又保持了压降小及性能稳定的特点 因此 填料塔已被推广到大型 气液操作中 在某些场合还代替了传统的板式塔 从设备设计的角度看 不论板式 塔还是填料塔 基本上由塔体 内件 裙座 和附件构成 近年来由于填料塔结构 的改进 新型的 高负荷填料的开发 既提高了塔的通过能力和分离效能又保持了 压降小以性能稳定等特点 因此填料塔已被推广到大型汽液操作中 减湿和气液相反应过程 所以塔设备的研究一直是国内外学者普遍 关注的重要课题 填料塔的应用始于 19 世纪中叶 起初在空塔中填充碎石 砖块和焦炭等块状物 以增强气液两相间的传质 1914 年德国人 F 拉西首先采用高度与直径相等的陶瓷环 填料 现称拉西环 推动了填料塔的发展 此后 多种新填料相继出现 填料塔的 性能不断得到改善 近 30 年来 填料塔的研究及其应用取得巨大进展 不仅开发了数 十种新型高效填料 还较好地解决了设备放大问题 到 60 年代中期 直径数米乃至 十几米的填料塔已不足为奇 现在 填充塔已与板式塔并驾齐驱 成为广泛应用的 传质设备 填料塔自它发明以来已广泛地应用于化工生产的各个领域 近二十年 规整填料塔对板式塔 散装填料以及其它多种塔设备产生了巨大的冲击 在国内外引起众多研究者的极大兴趣 在近几年的文献中 国外有大量的规整填料 研究报道 它因其高通量 低压降 操作稳定而广泛地用于气 液 液 液接触的塔设 备中 如蒸馏 吸收 萃取等诸多领域 特别是在气液接触中 已越来越多地被采 用 如已有设备通过利用规整填料来更换塔内构件 从而达到提高塔负荷的目的 规整填料种类较多 有板波纹填料 格栅填料 丝网填料等 材质有金属 塑料 陶瓷等 即使同样的种类亦有不同的规格 它们的比表面 空隙率及几何尺寸存在
