supervision SafetySafety instructions instructions Check if the dustbag has been inserted correctly before you use the appliance for the first time Never suck up water or any other liquid Never suck up ashes until they are cold Don t use the vacuum cleaner to suck up inflammables and glass or metal splinters Don t suck up surface covered with plastic cement stone dust or flour Sucking up fine dust may cause the pores of the dustbag to become clogged This will obstruct the passage of air through the bag If this happens the dustbag will have to be replaced even if it is not full yet To avoid damage Never use the vacuum cleaner without the motor protection filter If the appliance has breakdown it may only be repaired by the maintenance center Never dismantle it by yourself blindly If the filter are available from your dealer Please note that they should be the same type number CottonCotton dustbagdustbag If you use the cotton dustbag instead of the paper dustbag the bag can be used and emptied repeatedly For removing and inserting the cotton dustbag simply follow the instructions for replacing paper dustbag You can empty the cotton dustbag in the following ways Hold the dustbag over a dustbin Remove the clip by sliding it off the dustbag sideways Shake the contents of the dustbag into the dustbin Close the dustbag by sliding the clip back onto the bottom edge of the dustbag If you use the cotton dustbag we advise you to wash the motor protection filter in lukewarm water once a year Make sure that the filter is completely dry before you put it back into the vacuum cleaner Replacing a motor protection filter Replace the motor protection filter when you insert the first of a new set of dustbag Replacing the exhaust air filter Remove the holder Insert the bottom edge of the new filter properly into the ridges of the holder Close the holder by pressing it home gently Make sure that the filter fits completely into the holder Warranty Information The manufacturer provides warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer s own country of residence with a minimum of 1 year Germany 2 years starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the
