纺织染专业英语课程标准第一部分 前言一、课程定位本课程纺织染专业英语是在已学完基础英语，掌握了一定量的常用词汇和基本语法，已经具备了一定专业知识的基础上开设的一门高职类染织艺术设计专业基础课程。通过专业英语的学习，使学生掌握纺织染专业词汇的基本特点及表达方法，为今后从事外贸、跟单等相关工作打下基础。二、课程任务掌握一定量的专业英语词汇，学生借助词典能够阅读专业外文文献，并正确领会英语文章主要内容，熟练掌握本专业相关英文文献的翻译方法和技巧。 第二部分 课程目标一、总目标修完本课程后要求达到：(1) 了解纺织、染整专业词汇的构成方法，熟记专业词汇和常用词组，扩大英语词汇量；(2) 学会用英文表达纺织、染整工艺流程及各工序的作用；掌握科技英语的翻译技巧，能够熟练阅读并翻译简单的本专业类英文资料。 二、具体目标1.专业能力目标：熟练掌握纺织材料、纺纱、机织物织造、针织物织造、前处理、染色、印花、后整理等工序以及纺织品贸易中专业词汇的拼写及翻译，掌握基本翻译技巧及构词方法，理解染整相关设备的英文翻译，借助词典能够快速翻译染整方面相关外文资料。 2.方法能力目标：英语拼写能力、英文阅读能力、英文朗诵能力及一定的口语能力 3.社会能力目标：通过学习本课程，学生应具备基本的英汉翻译能力，借助于工具书可以顺利的翻译相关资料并流利阅读，为今后从事外贸销售、外贸跟单等工作奠定基础。 第三部分 课程总体设计纺织染专业英语是高等学校纺织类各专业的一门基础课。设置了九部分内容，包括织物纤维、纺纱、机织物织造、针织物织造、前处理、染色、印花、后整理、纺织品贸易等。在有限的学习时间内，学生通过各种纺织、染整工艺的学习，掌握其掌握纺织染基本词汇和基本的英语应用能力。该课程是以理论教学为主，总共48学时量。1、Fiber, Yarn and Fabric（4学时） （1）教学内容： What is
