牛津高中英语模块七第一单元阅读课说课稿一、教材分析本单元围绕Technology这一主题开展听、说、读、写多种教学活动。科学技术日新月异, Reading部分主要介绍电视和音响器件的发展史,电视和音响器件与学生生活紧密相关,是具有时代性和可挖掘型的教学主题,必定会吸引学生阅读的兴趣。二、三维教学目标我校学生都参加全国统一招生考试,根据新课程标准,结合我校高二学生实际和教材内容,确定以下目标。1、语言知识双基词汇:有关技术的词汇-audio device, wireless, broadcasting, cable TV, Web TV, set-top box, World Wide Web, recorder, electric current, cassette, CD, Discman, Mini Disc 其他词汇- in color, be superior to, come onto the market, wind up, demand, spring up, a variety语用功能:被动结构(科技文章中常用被动语态) 介词用法复习、归纳 重点句型:L11-L12 It took more than two decadesfor color broadcasts to L16-L17 It took 50 years before. L54 since-clause2、语言技能 听:听懂同学和教师介绍家用电器的短文或对话; 说:说说最新的音响器件或平时听音乐的音响器件; 读:通过阅读小标题获取文章主要信息,掌握大意,了解过去、现在和未来的电视及音响设备; 写:利用reading中的一些词汇,结合workbook P109的A,完成B电话发展史。3、学习策略 阅读策略:主旨大意题解题技巧-阅读标题和副标题 词汇策略: 运用构词法记忆词汇,如:record-recording-recorder 一词多义,如:wind, spring 词汇网络,以TV, audio devices为中心词,列出相关词,构词词汇网络4、情感态度 激发学生学习科学技术知识的热情,培养学生热爱科学、献身科学的精神。5、文化意识 Reading中电视和音响器件的发明以美国、英国和德国为主,学习这篇文章,激励学生了解发达国家的最新科技动态,从家电着手培养学生的创新意识。三、教学重点、难点1. 进一步提高学生阅读科技文章的能力,特别是通过阅读副标题获取文章主要信息,掌握解答主旨大意题的技巧。2. 利用构词法记住有关词汇的技巧。3. 利用副标题写作的技巧。四、教学方法和手段 1. Top-down reading method, that is, to understand the main idea first, then deal with the new words and phrases. 2. Charter-learning method. Rearrange the reading materials using charts to provide a clear clue and each approach to reading. 3. Studentstudent interaction, to cultivate students cooperative spirits. 4. Multi-media and objects like an old MP3, a new MP5, recorder, etc.五、教学过程Step I Lead-in The teacher shows students an old MP3 that she used to listen to music and then a new MP5, a present from a friend. Ask students for help-explain how to use it.More questions:1. What audio devices do you use when you listen to music?2. Besides listening to music, what else do you do to relax yourselves? What kind of TV sets do you have at home? (Share information in groups of 3)3. Do you know much about the development of TV and audio devices?Step II Reading comprehension1. What TV is superior to satellite TV? What TV is superior to digital TV?设计思路:通过问题的引领,帮助学生理解该部分内容,突出重点句型It took 59 years before以及词组be superior to的用法。Part III Paragraphs3, 4, 51. Students read the three paragraphs silently and underline all the music players.2. Design some comprehension questions in groups of 4.3. Contest between groups:1)Name as many music players as possible (without looking at the textbook). For each one, a group can get one point.2)Ask the other groups questions such as what is a walkman, for each question, a group is given 5 points. The group that gives the correct can get 5 points, too.
