Having a spare battery is a good idea.If you are bad at introductions and conclusions, then think of the end first, and begin the movie in the same place, or vice-versa(反之亦然).Add music, but not illegally. In other words, you can put music in, but dont give out copies. If you do, you will have to use non-copyrighted material or contact someone to get permission. No matter where you are there is always independent musicians that would love to have their songs in your movie. and lighting is very important: Good sound (easily understanding the person speaking without hearing the photographer breathing, or street noise, for example) is critical. Good lighting makes the video/movie watchable. Excellent Predicting lighting include: Dusk or early morning, a foggy or overcast day, and shade (but only when there is a darker background.) A white poster board can be used to bounce(弹回) light to the shaded side of the face. Here are a few camera pointers to consider: Vary the shots for interest, but vary the type of shots, between wide, medium and close-up(特写). Too many close-ups in a row is in disorder. Start with a wide Establishing Shot (so the audience knows where the action is taking place and what time of day, year or millennium(千年期)it is), then vary medium and close-up shots. You may think people in such an attractive and exciting, fun-filled place are happier than others. If so, you have some mistaken ideas about the nature of happiness. Many intelligent people still consider happiness equal to fun. The truth is that fun and happiness have little or nothing in common. Fun is what we experience during an act. Happiness is what we experience after an act. It is a deeper, more lasting emotion.Going to an amusement park or ball game, watching a movie or television, are fun activities that help us relax, temporarily forget our problems and maybe even laugh. But they do not bring happiness, because their positive effects end when the fun ends.I have often thought that if Hollywood stars have a role to play, it is to teach us that happiness has nothing to do with fun. These rich, beautiful individuals have constant access to glamorous parties, fancy cars, expensive homes, everything that spells “happiness”. But in memoir (回忆录) after memoir, famous people expose the unhappiness hidden beneath all their fun depression, alcoholism (酗酒), drug addiction, broken marriages, troubled children and extreme loneliness.Ask an unmarried man why he refuses to get married even though he finds dating to be less and less satisfying. If hes honest, he will tell you that he is afraid of making a commitment (承诺). For commitment is in fact quite painful. The single life is filled with fun, adventure and excitement. Marriage has such moments, but they are not its most distinguishing features.Similarly, couples that choose not to have children are deciding in favor of painless fun over painful happiness. They can dine out whenever they want and sleep as late as they want. Couples with babies are lucky to get a whole nights sleep or a three-day vacation. I dont know any parent who would choose the word fun to describe raising children. The way people stick to the belief that a fun-filled, pain-free life equals happiness actually reduces their chances of ever achieving real happiness. If fun and pleasure are equal to happiness, then pain must be equal to unhappiness. But, in fact, the opposite is true More times than not, things that lead to happiness involve some pain.As a result, many people avoid the very efforts that are the source of true happiness. They fear the pain unavoidably brought by such things as marriage, raising children, professional achievement, religious commitment and self-improvement.Understanding and accepting that true happiness has nothing to do with fun is one of the most liberating (解放) realizations we can ever come to. It liberates time now we can devote more hours to activities that can truly increase our happiness. It liberates money buying that new car or those fancy clothes that will do nothing to increase our happiness now seems pointless. And it liberates us from envy we now understand that all those rich and glamorous people we were so sure are happy because they are always having so much fun actually may not be happy at all. 41. According to the passage, which of the following people are more likely to achieve happiness?A. People living in fun-filled places. B. People taking pains to raise children.C. People living a wealthy life. D. People who are free from responsibility.42. According to the writer, an important role Hollywood stars have to play is to _.A. give audience enough fun B. write memoirs to introduce their livesC. tell people what happiness is D. show unhappiness beneath fun43. In the writers opinion, marriage _.A. means responsibility B. means the end of fun C. leads to raising children D. leads to less sleep44. Many people fail to enjoy real happiness because _.A. they believe fun is equal to happiness B. they get married and have childrenC. they dont have religious beliefs D. they cant free themselves from commitment45. If one understands the nature of happiness, he will _. A. stop seeking fun from daily lifeB. enjoy life by spending all his wealth C. keep himself with his familyD. make more efforts to take responsibilitesPassage A【语篇解读】本文是一篇关于何为幸福的本质的议论文。 “Congratulations, Mr. Jones, its a girl.”Fatherhood is going to have a different meaning and bring forth a different answer from every man who hears these words. Some feel proud when they receive the news, while others worry, wondering whether they will be good fathers. Although there are some men who like children and may have had considerable experience with them, others do not particularly care for children and spend little time with them. Many fathers and mothers have been planning and looking forward to children for some time. For other couples, pregnancy was an accident that both husband and wife have accepted willingly or unwillingly. Whatever the reaction to the birth of a child,it is obvious that the shift from the role of husband to that of father is a difficult task. Yet, unfortunately, few attempts have been made to educate fathers in this remobilization process. Although numerous books have been written about American mothers, only recently has literature focused on the role of a father. It is argued by some writers that the transition to the fathers role, although difficult, is not nearly as great as the transition the wife must make to the mothers role. The mothers role seems to require complete transformation in daily routine and highly innovative adaptation; on the other hand, the fathers role is less demanding and immediate. However, even though we mentioned the fact that growing number of women are working outside the home, the father is still thought by many as the breadwinner in the household. 1. According to the author, being a father_.A. brings a feeling of excitement to some menB. has a different meaning for those who have daughtersC. makes some men feel proud and others uneasyD. means nothing but more responsibilities2. It is stated in the passage that_.A. some parents are not prepared to have a childB. young couples do not like children at allC. working couples do not have much time to take care of their childrenD. many parents look forward to having a boy as their first child3. The transition to the mothers role requires that the wife_.A. change her lifestyle in a highly innovative wayB. make a complete change in her everyday life to deal with the new situationC. stay at home to take care of the babyD. help her husband in his remobilization process4. Some writers argue that with respect to the change of roles, fathers, compared with mothers, _.A. have to shoulder more burdensB. have to make more difficult adaptationsC. have an easier job to doD. can usually do a better job【参考答案】32.CABC 阅读下列短文,从每篇短文后所给各题的四个选项(A、B、C和D)中,选出最佳选项。【2014高考英语第二次联考试题】 The boys crowded in two teams at the front of Charlene Skinners class as they thought over the math problem that flashed on the whiteboard. “Thats not right,” one boy said. “It says find the slope,” another boy said, instructing his classmates. Next door, in Room A114, the girls spent five minutes in Justin Andersons science class writing down everything they know about DNA. When the assigned time was up, Anderson asked the students to share some of what they noted down. “Nobodys DNA is alike,” one girl said after raising her hand. “You get it from your parents,” said another. This is how some lessons are taught at James Gholson Middle School in Prince Georges County: boys in one classroom, girls in another. Advocates argue that separating boys and girls removes distractions (分心) and sex prejudice in the classroom, taking the lead from expensive private schools and boarding schools that have relied on single-sex learning for generations. But opponents say there is little evidence that such separation works, that it can be discriminatory (歧视) and that it doesnt properly prepare students for a world that is mixed. Some experts say single-sex classes can break down sex stereotypes (定式), create opportunities for students and improve test scores. Kathy Couture, an education professor at Stetson University in Florida and a board member of the National Association for Single Sex Public Education, said students tend to be more focused on their curriculum and less concerned about impressing or getting attention from the opposite sex. She said girls tend to “dumb themselves down for boys” when they are together in math and science classes. But a report published last week by the Psychological Bulletin which reviewed 184 studies to compare the outcomes of learning in single-sex and mixed classrooms raised questions about whether there are any real advantages to single-sex classrooms. Janet Hyde, one of the reports co-authors, said there was no evidence to support the argument that boys do better orally or that girls improve in math and science when in single-sex settings. What is more important is that separating students might not adequately prepare them for college an
