Divide the whole class into four groups to have acompetition. Do some actions,then ask the students to guess what I did or eat.T : what did I do last night?/what did I eat last night?Ss:You .Step 2 Presentation1. Set a similar environment as the passage, show some pictures of the clown, actors .2. Ask the students to guess where did lingling go?/what did lingling do/see ?3. Have the students listen to the tape with the following questions :a. What did Daming have got ?b. Where did Lingling go last night?c. What did they do after the show?d.Did English children love the theatre?4. Have the students listen to the tape again and ask them to find out the past tense of the verbs in the letter.Step3.Practice1. 单词滚雪球(1) Write some verbs on the blackbord ,then ask the students to work in groups and write out their past tense.
