文档简介

Hello boys and girls of all ages:Here is Samuel, who looks like 20 years old, but actually much much older than that, probably old enough to have a 3 year-old daughter. Its my pleasure to be your oral English teacher during this month. I know that some of you come here with lots of confusions. Youre probably not sure if youll be able to get your oral ability brushed up in such a short time. For this, I feel obligated and confident to tell you that the answer is positive-you will get what you want. But at the same time, its my suggestion that you make clear why youre here learning English. People, you dont learn oral English simply in order to pass this interview. Instead, youre learning oral English because you want to do a better job in your coming MBA education. Also, youre supposed to practice your oral because you are shooting for Global Managers in the future. I hope I make sense to you, since Ive been in that world for years and Im totally aware of the importance of this Damned language. Your textbooks will be written in English, teachers may enjoy talking in English, fakes, which I know. And your future career will, to a deep extent, depend on your English ability. I know a MBA student in Fudan, who regretted to death about his oral English when he applied for his dreaming company BCG, and finally came over to me for help. And I wish the story is not going to happen to you again, my smartie. To get a happy learning experience, you will be doing: Please totally stretch out, my babies. No taking notes in my class, this is not reading English. Dont keep your lips tightly shut, Samuel will be patrolling around to see if you are opening your mouth. Dont speak English as if youre talking sweet words to your sweet honey, just speak loud. This is once-in-a-life-time opportunity to lose your gentleness and lady elegance, but its worth the sacrifice. We are animals, yelling animals. Memorize the words I think to be good. Im sorry to talk about memorizing words again, but this is something we cant get ride of. What I will do is to make the memorizing as interesting as possible, so that you wont fall into sleep in class, or beat me up into bones. Be professional and rehearse like a manager. As Ive been observing, people with behavioral charisma are much more attractive than those merely having good appearance. To be a successful manager, you may have to, first of all, look like one. I mean, your facial expressions and body language is also very very essential when you are demonstrating yourself during the interview. I know that 99% of you look much more like a manager than Samuel, but please look more like that. I wrote this teaching material all by myself, guess you will smell whats my oral style. Last, Samuel wish all of you happy learning, and I wish I dont let you guys down.
