The excellent performances by actor Lawrence Leung and actress Janet Kung make his film worth seeing.The movie tells us the story of the young Chan Lam, who lives in the Kings palace in China during the 16th century. While studying medicine, he falls in love with the Princess. The King gets upset(不安的) about their relationship, so he orders Chan Lam to leave the palace. Chan Lam is very sad but he overcomes his sadness and works hard to become a famous doctor. Later on in the film, he saves the lives of many people.Lawrence does a wonderful job acting as the quiet and caring Chinese doctor. He does not say much throughout the film, but his strength lies in the truthful words he speaks.
