教学设计与反思课题:unit 7 reading Would you mind keeping your voice down? 科目: English教学对象:the students of Grade 2课时: 1提供者:朱秀梅 单位: 仙居县横溪镇新生中学一、教学内容分析本课时是unit7的第四节课,是一篇阅读课文,所选的阅读材料依然紧扣本单元的语言目标,通过阅读教材,让学生学会:1. 运用阅读策略,通过寻找主题句来快速获取文章大意,提高阅读速度及效率,培养对语篇的综合理解能力,同时促进写作水平的提高。2. 查字典、翻阅资料、养成小组合作的习惯,培养自学能力。3.了解不同国家及文化背景下的礼仪,教育学生助人为乐,更好地遵守社会公德。二、教学目标 1.知识目标:(1) Key vocabulary: Asia, impolite, allow, voice, public, break, smoke, careful, drop, litter, pickup (2)Reading: Would you mind keeping your voice down?2.能力目标:1. To train students reading comprehension. 2. To train students how to use the strategy of reading. 3. To train students ability of getting information. 3情感目标:To enable Ss to behave politely in public places and in our daily life.4文化意识目标:To know the differences between eastern and western etiquette.三、学习者特征分析八年级的学生是对社会充满好奇与关心的年龄,他们的思维逐渐在成熟,他们的自我意识也在觉醒,这是关于东西方文化差异的文章,学生对未知的文化充满好奇,有一读为快的感觉。另一方面,八年级的学生英语已经开始产生两极分化,少部分的学生会对英语具有畏惧心理,而这篇文章比较长,还涉及定语从句,语句不如平时学的课文朗朗上口,学生容易产生厌烦心理,所以在设计教学时要考虑分层次的教学,针对不同层次的学生进行设计,让所有的学生能在课堂上动口,动手,动脑。四、教学策略选择与设计 经过前面几节课的学习,学生已经学会了如何更礼貌的提建议,这时进行阅读策略教学则顺理成章,而阅读能力的培养在初二阶段尤为重要。所以我准备采用阅读教学法,通过发现问题、分析问题、解决问题来获得知识,强调自学与合作学习,在完成任务的同时学习语言。在阅读文章、理解文章、分析文章之后做适当扩展和延伸。让学生在各个任务链中完成阅读任务,并尽可能降低文章难度,将难点分散,引导学生逐步延伸话题,为进一层拓展做好准备;并用寻找主题句的办法让学生更好地理解文章,以此来培养学生的阅读策略,进而培养学生阅读能力。五、教学重点及难点 1 Key Points (1)Key vocabulary: keepdown; at first; put out; pickup; seem like;stand close to; even if;in public places; break the rules; join the line; drop litter;suggestion; sneeze loudly; be allowed. T: Lets see some annoying things in public.T: What can you see? T: What does the sign mean?T: Why?T:What will you say to them?Practice the sentences with other impolite behaviors.(talk loudly; drop litter; walk on the grass; cut in line; sneeze loudly)T: What should you do?2. Give a summary: Its very important to be polite.Its important to keep the rules of etiquette.T: What does “etiquette” mean?T: They have impolite behaviors.What rules of etiquette do they break?T: What is the best way to give them suggestions?T: We should politely give them suggestions.= We should give them suggestions in a polite way.S: Some people are smoking in public places. S: It means: Smoking in public is not allowed. S: Its impolite to smoke in public.S: Would you mind not smoking in public?(Would you mind putting out your cigarette?)We should take care not to cough or sneeze loudly in public.S: It means: normal and polite social behavior.S: Drop litter. Spit everywhere. Smoke in public. Talk loudly.S: Would you mind ? /Could you please ?既复习已经教过的礼貌性的句子,也教会学生部分的新单词和句型,为以下的学习打下基础,减轻难度。 制作一些“不良社会公德”为场景的课件,引起学生的共鸣,激发学生的兴趣,引导学生注意提出请求和表示歉意的方法。Step 3.
