(3)语法:what和how引导的感叹句。二、课文讲解1How exciting! 多么令人激动啊!(1)exciting adj. 意为“令人激动的,使人兴奋的”,通常用定语。作表语时,主语通常是物。They waited and waited for something exciting to happen.他们等啊等啊,等待着激动人心的事情发生。This story is so exciting. 这个故事令人振奋。(2)excited adj. 激动的,兴奋的,通常用来作表语。主语通常是人。be excited to do sth. 干很兴奋be excited about doing sth. 对干很兴奋。如:Kangkang is very excited to open the birthday presents.康康打开生日礼物兴奋不已。类似的用法还有:interesting adj. 有趣的,有吸引力的,interested adj. 感兴趣的,有吸引力的,There is an interesting question. 这儿有一个有趣的问题。We are interested in playing basketball. 我们对打篮球感兴趣。2And it sounds beautiful! 听起来很棒!(1)sound在句中作系动词,后接形容词、名词,意为“听起来”。也可接like短语,意为“听起来像”。如:Your plan sounds like a good one. 你的计划听起来不错。That sounds a good idea. 那听起来倒是个好主意。This song sounds beautiful. 这首歌听起来很优美。(2)sound n. 声音。如:I can hear a strange sound. 我听到一种奇怪的声音。3Thats too bad! 真遗憾!相当于What a shame! 用于对对方的不幸表示同情怜悯的场合。如:I failed in the exam. 我考试没及格。Thats too bad! 真倒霉!4I can lend you some tapes of her songs. 我能借给你一些她的歌曲磁带。borrow和lend的用法 I can lend you my dictionary. = I can lend my dictionary to you.我可以把我的字典借给你。I want to borrow a dictionary from you.我想从你那里借一本字典。5Which kind of musical instrument can you play? 你会演奏哪种乐器?kind种类,可数名词,which kind of哪一种。常见的短语有:a kind of意为“一种”,all kinds of意为“各种各样(的)”,many different kinds of意为“许多不同品种的”。注意:当“kind of+复数名词”作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。当“kinds of+复数名词”作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。试比较:This kind of books is very popular. 这种书很畅销。These kinds of books are very popular. 这些类型的书很畅销。6You can also learn to sing or dance (ballet, disco, folk dance)for just ¥50 each. 你还可以学唱歌、跳舞(芭蕾、迪斯科、民族舞),每门只收50元。learn和study的用法 He is learning to speak English. 他在学说英语。He studies English hard. 他努力学习英语。Study hard and you will learn English well. 只要努力学习,就会学好英语。He is studying the maths problem. 他正在研究这道数学题。7If you like art, you can learn to draw or paint, too.如果你喜欢艺术,你也可以学习绘画或颜料画。由if引导的条件状语从句主句是一般将来时,从句要用一般现在时表将来。从句在前面时,句中加逗号。如:If it doesnt rain tomorrow, we will go out for a picnic. 如果明天不下雨,我们将去野炊。We will go to the movies if we dont have lessons tomorrow.如果我们明天不上课我们就去看电影。8Its hard to say. 很难说。hard的用法(1)难做的,难懂的,难以回答的。常用于句型Its hard(for sb.)to do sth. 对某人而言做很困难。如:Its hard(for me)to believe that she is only nine.(我)很难相信她只有九岁。Its hard(for me)to work out the math problem.(对我而言,)做出这道数学题太难了。Its difficult(for sb.)to do sth. = Its hard(for sb.)to do sth. 对某人而言做很困难。如:Its difficult(for us)to win the match. = Its hard(for us)to win the match.对我们而言,赢得这场比赛实在是太难了。(2)坚固的,坚硬的,结实的。如:The stone is very hard. 石头很硬。9I used to enjoy pop music, but now I like folk music.我以前喜欢流行音乐,但现在却喜欢民间音乐。几种音乐的名称:pop music流行音乐 folk music民间音乐classical music古典音乐 rock music摇滚音乐violin music小提琴音乐 country music乡村音乐jazz music爵士乐 piano music钢琴曲10Li Xiang likes jazz best of all. 李翔最喜欢爵士音乐。(1)likebest of all在所有的中最喜欢如:My brother likes the songs of Zhang Xueyou best of all.在所有歌曲中我哥哥最喜欢张学友的歌。(2)Li Xiang likes jazz best of all. = Jazz is Li Xiangs favorite.11It is usually about love and everyday life.他的主题通常是关于爱情和日常生活。 He knows a lot of everyday English. 他懂许多日常用语。The book is about the everyday life of the people in this country.本书是关于这个国家人民的日常生活的。She goes to school every day. 她每天都上学。We clean our room every day. 我们每天都打扫房间。12Guo Lanying, Song Zuying and Tenger are famous for their folk songs. 郭兰英、宋祖英和腾格尔以唱民歌而著名。(1)be famous for表示“因某事物而著名,以某事物而著名”。如:Suzhou is famous for the gardens. 苏州以园林而著称。Haibin is famous for her ice lantern. 哈尔滨以冰灯而闻名。(2)be famous as表示“以某种身份而著名”。如:She is famous as a woman scientist. 她作为一名女科学家扬名天下。He is famous as a fine football player. 他以一名优秀足球运动员而出名。13I hate to listen to rock music. 我讨厌听摇滚乐。(1)hate vt. 意为“不喜欢、讨厌、恨”,其反义词为love,同义词为dislike。如:She hates the smell of smoke. 她讨厌烟味。(2)hate to do sth. 和hate doing sth. 意义无大差别,只是to do更多表示具体的一次性动词,而doing更多表示习惯性,经常的、一般的动作。这与like后面接to do或doing的道理一样。如:I hate to trouble you. 我真不愿意麻烦你。She hates traveling by air. 她讨厌坐飞机旅行。14At last, he found another 3 boys and they set up a band.最后他找到了另外三个男生组建了一支乐队。set up和build的用法二者都有“建立”的意思,有时可以互换。但set up多侧重组建一个组织,而build多指具体建筑,制作。如:They built a school in a month. = They set up a school in a month.他们一个月内建了一所学校。My friends set up a business last month. 我的朋友上个月组建了一个公司。15They continue to make music. 他们继续创作音乐。continue to do sth. 继续做某事,可以和continue doing sth. 互换。The rain continued falling all afternoon. = The rain continued to fall all afternoon. 这场雨整整一个下午都下个不停。16When he was eight, his father asked a music teacher to teach him to play the piano. 他八岁时,他父亲请了一位音乐老师教他弹钢琴。(1)When he was eight是一个时间状语从句,相当于At the age of eight。when表示“当的时候”。如:He could swim when he was seven.=He could swim at the age of seven. 他七岁时,就会游泳。(2)本句包括两个动词不定式:ask sb. to do sth. 请某人做某事;teach sb. to do sth. 教某人做某事。如:Our teacher asked me to teach him to swim. 我们老师叫我教他学游泳。三、语法:感叹句1感叹句的定义用来表示说话时喜怒哀乐等强烈感情的句子叫感叹句。感叹句末常用感叹号,也可用句号,一般用降调来朗读。2感叹句的构成感叹句常分为两种类型:一种以what引导的感叹句;一种以how引导的感叹句。(1)以what引导的感叹句的结构:What+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数+主语+谓语+! 如:What a nice girl she is! 多好的女孩啊!What an easy question it is! 多么简单的问题!What+形容词+可数名词复数+主语+谓语+! 如:What beautiful flowers they are! 多美的花啊!What+形容词+不可数名词+主语+谓语+! 如:What bad weather it is! 天气真糟糕!(2)以how引导的感叹句的句式结构为:How+形容词或副词+主语+谓语+! 如:How clever she is! 她多聪明啊!How+主语+谓语+! 如:How time flies! 光阴似箭!注意:感叹句中的主语、谓语通常可以省略。如:What a nice girl(she is)! 多好的女孩啊!What bad news! 多坏的消息呀!How handsome! 真英俊!What a n
