( Section A1a2d Book Two, Grade Six)【授课课型】新授课听说课【教材分析】本单元围绕“你哪天过生日”这一话题,主要学习一年中十二月的表达方式;掌握序数词的表达;学习并运用生日年龄的问答。在教学中,教师根据第一课时的重难点以及学情,对教材加以整合,进行适当的补充和删减,做到“用教材教”而不是“教教材”。【教学目标】. Knowledge. Words and expressions: When , birthday , month , January , February , March , April , May , June , July , August, September , October , November , December , tenth , fourth , fifteenth , second , third, fifth , sixth , seventh , eighth , ninth , eleventh , twelfth , thirteenth , fourteenth,sixteenth , seventeenth , eighteenth , nineteenth , twentieth , thirtieth . Sentence: 1. When is your birthday ? 你的生日是什么时候?My birthday is November 11th.2. When is Sarahs birthday ?Sarahs birthday is January 21st. . Grammar: 1. 十二个月份(注意月份的词首大写) 2. 序数词 (1)特殊词的变化: first , 1st , Second , 2nd ; third , 3rd twenty-first 21st , twenty-second 22nd , twenty-third 23rd. (2)一般词th fourth 4th , fifth 5th , sixth 6th , seventh , 7th , twelfth 12th , nineteenth 19th. (3)几十的变ty为tieth twentieth 20th , thirtieth 30th , fortieth 40th. S2: Her /His birthday day is Step 2: New Wordslearning(1)The teacher asks several students, “When is your birthday?”. After the students answer it ,the teacher blackboards the words. The students probably say some words about the months and dates.(2)Ask Ss to read and write the words.(3) ConsolidationAsk Ss to match the words with the pictures(1a) and check the answers.Step 3: Drills -learning(1) Play a flash A birthday party .Then the Ss ask “When is your birthday?” each other.(2) Practice the drills-When is your birthday ? -My birthday is -When is his/her birthday? -His/her birthday isStep 4: Listening (1b) (2a) (2b)T plays the recording twice and then check the answers with the students .Step 5:Make a Survey and report.Show the form to Ss and ask the Ss to make a survey and report.NamesWhen is your birthday?When is your fathers birthday?When is your mothers birthday?LindaStep 6: Writing-My familys birthdayFirst ask the Ss to write about their familys birthday.Step 7:Summary The teacher leads the Ss to summarize the key points and difficult points according to the black-boarding. Q: _ A: My mother is forty - eight .【课后反思】1、在备课和教学中,着重设置情景,体现参与、合作交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,在教学中提高了教与学的有效性,教师结合实际教学的需要,灵活地和有创造性的使用教材。如:为激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,让学生整体感知本课的目标语言,播放flash动画;为培养学生的实践动手能力,从学生的生活实际出发,设计一调查报告活动。不同的教学手段提高了学生的多种能力,也逐步使目标语言得以巩固和强化。2、在实际教学中却存在着遗憾。学生的回答较单一,缺乏一定的创新思维。教师难以在一节课内全面培养学生的听、说、读、写能力,做到“面面俱到”。【授课课题】Unit 1 When is your birthday? Now lets play the birthday game in groups. Talk to your classmates in your group. When are the events, do you remember? Please listen to the recording again and write the name of each event in the correct place on the calendar.
