B: I would like to visitThis activity is to prepare for learning the new lesson and educe the following tasks.Step2 PresentationThere are lots of new words in the article in 3a, its hard for the students to understand it, so Ill use CAI to present the new words in this class. Like: the Eiffel tower and Notre Dame Cathedral and so on. Ill ask them: Do you consider the foreign places like Paris? It has many fantastic sights, including the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. It can stimulate the students interests. Then Ill ask them: If you traveled around Paris, What would you like to travel by? Use the picture to help them to choose. At the same time, present the new words underground and convenient. And then Ill introduce something about Paris to present wine and translate. I think it can help the students understand the words easily and directly.Step3 Reading-taskIts the key point of this lesson, I design three tasks. At first the students read the passage quickly with two focuses: What is one thing that isnt expensive in Paris? Why do you need someone who can translate things for you? Then read the passage again with two focuses: the things you like and the things you dont like, circle or underline them while reading. After doing that, let the students read it more carefully and complete the chart on the screen. Its good for students to improve their ability of language input and export.Step4 While-taskShow them a picture of Kunming, and present the new words in 3b. Ask students to practice the conversation.
