It is designed to lead in the topic of this periodguided writing.Step II Guidance of summary writing Get Ss to read the passage and ask Ss to answer the questions: Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Summarize the skills of writing summary and join Ss in doing some oral practice. Afterwards, Students writing, teacher monitors their progress and offers some practical guidance. And then pick out one of the students works to make some comments.Read through the passage and circle the answers to the four questions and then share together. After that, Ss are asked to answer them one by one. Afterwards, they have a few minutes to finish the summary with the help of each other. (10or so)To reduce some obstacles and make some preparations for their writing next step and improve their ability to communicate with others and develop their awareness of cooperation and involvement. .Step IV Finish the rest of the writing Walk around the classroom while Ss are writing and much help should be given to Ss if necessary. (Notes: Time permitting, teacher timely picks out one of the Ss works and makes comments together. If not, they are allowed to continue finishing the rest of writing after class as homework, it all depends.)Ss are required to finish the rest of the writing according to what they have discussed with help of the partners.
