What are they? They are Are they? Yes, they are. / No, they arent. 2. 能力目标:1) To use the new phrases and sentence pattern to ask and answer about the food.2) To know the rules of the sentence patterns. 3. 情感目标:1) Raise the students interest to learn English. 2) Encourage the students to have good cooperation with each other and learn from each other.3) Encourage the students to know how much the food is not easy, and treasure grain and cherish the fruits of labor. 教学准备 Audiotape, vocabulary cards, pictures and so on.教学内容 Specific vocabulary:carrots, tomatoes.Specific target sentences: What are they? They are Are they? Yes, they are. / No, they arent. 教学重点 The new words and sentence.教学难点 To use the sentences pattern correctly. And to recite the new words.教学步骤Warming up & Leading in Teacher shows a chant: Carrots, carrots, I like carrots. Tomatoes, tomatoes, He likes tomatoes.Green beans, green beans, She likes green beans.Potatoes, potatoes, they like potatoes.Eat, eat, eat, eat, eat, to be strong. T: Do you like carrots/ tomatoes/ green beans/ potatoes? S: Yes, I like them. They are good for us. T: Ok, Today lets go to Mr. Wangs farm to see the kinds of vegetables. (Teaching active reasons: Teacher shows the chant with music to arouse the students interesting, revise the words learned in lets learn, and lead in)Presentation:1. Teacher shows a picture of farm. T: Look, there are so many animals.Whats this? S: Its a duck/ its a hens.T: What are these? S: They are ducks/ they are hens.Teacher shows a picture of vegetables in the ground, and points them.T: Look, Whats this? S: Its a tomato.T: What are these?S: They are tomatoes. (Writing the asking and answer on the blackboard.)T: Look, Whats this? S: Its a carrot.T: What are these?S: They are carrots.T: Look, Are these (green beans)?S: They are green beans.(Teaching active reasons: Teacher set a situation about the farm to let the students learn sentences pattern in the real situation and attract the students attention, and revise the words learned in lets learn.)2. Listening:1) T: Now, Mike and Sarah also come to the farm, listen! What do Mike and Sarah see? Teacher shows the flash. Students look for the answers.2) After listening, students answer the questions and open the books to check the answers by themselves.3) Students read the passage after the radio.(Teaching active reasons: Teacher shows the flash to raise the students interest to learn English and the ability of listening and reading.) Practice: 1. Students two two pairs to practice the sentence seeing the pictures. 2. Teacher makes dialogues with students, and let students learn to ask the things.3. Teacher gives students the sentence pattern:” What are they? They are Are they? Yes, they are. / No, they arent.” and to make dialogues.
