文档简介
Dieting makes people fatDieting often refers to the behavior of having food in an adjusted fashion to reduce, keep, or increase the weight of the body (George, A. 56). Fat is a significance degree of overweight and fat layer is too thick, which is especially caused by excessive accumulation of triglycerides in a state of the body (Strychar, I.63). In the current society, some dieters hold that dieting can make them thin, that is to say, dieting makes them lose the fat. While dieting make them slim up in a short time, few dieters have been able to maintain this achievement, and when they restore the original eating habits, the weight will rebound. Sometimes, fat after dieting may become higher before dieting. In fact, this is a kind of wrong opinion and way for losing the fat. Some dieters think that the easiest and most effective way to lose weight in the majority of people is dieting. The obesity is caused by eating too much so that calorie cannot in balance in intake and expenditure (Carey J.). The key is to endure hunger. Dieting requires a balanced diet, which is given normal food intake, controlling excessive food intake. However, in the process of losing weight, the dieters must consume little intake so that the heat is supplied into a negative balance. Behavior Research found that a persons good habits can form in certain time to overcome bad habits. The sense of hunger is temporary by dieting, which can persist for decade days. If the dieters can adapt a period of hunger, they will drop fat and gain success. However, some researchers claim that dieting cannot lose weight while keeping or increasing fat. First of all, dieting makes dieters feel hunger and have strong desire for eating food. Some studies have shown that whether dieters are fat or thin, dieting will make them feel very hungry, and produces a more intense desire appetite for eating food, such as sugar and fat (Sacks F 72). When the dieters begin to lose weight, they think that the reducing weight is due to consuming of body fat, which does not affect the bodys metabolism. However, the first reaction of body on the diet was immediately available from the energy to gain energy. The available the energy reserves immediately in the glycogen. At the beginning of dieting, decreasing weight is mainly consumed glycogen, and only when the body is adapted to the requirements of the diet, their body begins to burn fat and muscle. If dieters have successfully suppressed this desire for eating food in short time, it is very difficult for them to keep this state for a long time. If dieters cannot control this desire for food, their fat will increase and cannot decrease. It is contrary to the popular belief. Most of the recipes are unhealthy diets, and are close to malnutrition. The dieting can force the dieters to do extreme things, which makes the dieters give up their favorite foods, or omit the staple food to lose weight. The dieting for a short time is an unsustainable practice. The body right is deprived, which makes the body lose weight. However, once the body overcomes the troubles, it will adapt. The metabolism will be slow and the body comes into an unhealthy physical state (such as ketosis), or weight loss condition disappears. Therefore, even if dieters have strong willpower to always go on a diet, their body will not fit themselves. Furthermore, other researchers state that the pressure of dieting cannot always be controlled through ignoring the emotional factors. Many people use the way of eating to decrease the pressure so that dieting cannot always be controlled through ignoring the emotional factors. The greedy hunger has been the only reason for eating a lot of food. It is not possible for the dieters want to lose fat. Emotional eating is the reason for many dieters gain weight, whether it is too happy or too sad. Dieters are inclined to eat to relieve these extremely feelings. Obviously, dieting emotional eating for fat has great effect. Moreover, if the mood is very sad, the dieters still stick to dieting. It is likely to allow the dieters to become more depressed. Day after day, dieting will make the dieters feel tired or even crashing. Dieting is effective because the dieters consistently try their best to control the desire of eating food significantly. However, most dieters will face bored food day after day. They try to find a way to make them out of tired, in fact, which is impossible. Dieters will wander among the different recipes, and their failure is constantly waiting for them, even though they can get fatter than before dieting. Tracy Bale of University Pennsylvania neuroscientist believes that this phenomenon may be associated with stress. Pressure will cause the body to release a hormone called cortisol (Tracy B. 21). The hormone will be in the form of sugars into the bloodstream to provide energy to protect people from potential threats. If the state of human long-term stress, the bodys cortisol levels would have been at a relatively high state, which will make the person have good appetite so that the dieters can gain weight again. Bale and her colleagues believe that dieting makes it easier perceive the pressure of everyday life (Bale T 43). Under the influence of chronic stress, even the most determined dieter will not resist the temptation of ice cream and pizza. Although occasionally they eat a sweet sundae which does not cause gain weight again, they continue this way and will fail in the previous weight loss results. Some experts hold that it is very difficult for the dieters to change their eating habits due to the dieters own their diet culture. For most dieters, it is very difficult to stick to dieting. No matter what kind of diet recipe, all means that the dieters need a long time to change their old eating habits. However, old habits are hard to change because they have been integrated into their own lives. Dieting often require the dieters to change eating habits, which makes the normal life become more difficult. Eating out, go to a friends house for dinner, some special occasions have become trouble such as eating out or going to friend for a big dinner. However, these things are exactly what make life the most valuable. Most of people are very busy, they cannot always go shopping, cooking, and calculate the number of calories, which are required by many diet recipes. Moreover, many old habits are but also relevant to the particular culture, such as high-fat western diet, the Japanese eating dried salted fish, Chinese, Korean pickles. These habits are not changed by dieting. In addition, the change success in eating habits depends on the dieters willpower. The dieters willpower is usually very strong at the beginning of dieting, but as time goes on, the willpower will be more difficult with the strong pressure. The willpower will be gradually vanished. Every day, the dieters have to resist their friend invitation, party like the temptation. This is why the dieters can stick to dieting for a month or two months of diet plan, which is very simple, but for all life the outcome is difficult to maintain the dieting. Conclusion To conclude, it is not possible for the dieters to decrease their own fat through dieting way. On the contrary, dieting can cause the dieters fat due to the influence of lots of factors. Dieting makes dieters feel hu
