英语写作B教学大纲英文名称:English Writing B一、课程目标1. 课程性质:英语写作B为英语专业学科基础课程,为英语专业本科二年级必修课程。在已修英语专业二年级第一学期英语写作A后,英语写作B将侧重培养和提高学生阅读速度。加强学生思维能力和创新能力的培养;要有意识地训练学生分析与综合、抽象与概括、多角度分析问题等多种思维能力以及发现问题、解决难题等创新能力;正确处理语言技能训练与创新能力培养的关系;重点讲解英语段落写作技巧和措辞技巧,提高语篇写作的有效性、流畅性、生动性和准确性。除此之外,本学期学生将参加英语专业四级考试,该课程将帮助学生针对英语专业四级考试中作文写作的特点和要求等进行大量训练,在写作练习的选题时将更加注重与时俱进,突出鲜明的时代特征,努力提高学生书面表达的能力。2. 教学方法:课堂教学和训练为主,课后练习和辅导为辅3. 课程学习目标和基本要求通过本课程的教学,帮助学生提高在有限时间内按要求阅读一定字数的文章的能力,进一步培养学生独立思考的能力。课程将结合全国英语专业四级统考要求,要求学生在课内外进行大量写作训练,提高学生写作的速度和质量,争取实现写作成绩达标。学生通过学习本课程,学生能在写作中较灵活有效地运用措辞、语法、写作基本技巧等所学知识,综合运用英语语言的能力,提高英文写作水平。通过本学期的综合训练,帮助学生在段落写作中争取有效实现段落的统一性、连贯性和完整性;对有效措辞有较为全面的了解。课堂教学应以学生为主体,教师为主导,注重培养学生的学习能力、学习兴趣和语言应用能力。教师应根据不同教学对象、教学内容选择相应教学方法,在教学中以任务为中心,开展形式多样的写作实践活动。在加强基础训练的同时,采用启发式和讨论式等教学方法,充分调动学生的学习积极性和主动性。4. 课程学时:27学时 5. 课程学分:1.5学分6. 课程类型:学科基础课7. 考核方式:考试 1. 先修课程:精读A、精读B、泛读与写作A 8. 适用专业与年级:英语专业本科二年级二、课程结构第一章 Coordination and Subordination(学时数:3)知识点: 1.
